Let's recap from part 2. So far there were new and old villains coming to Paris and fight off Ladybug, Black Panther, and their team of heroes to get the Miraculouses. But they couldn't get the job done. That didn't stop them from getting new power...
In the city, Captain Sadness releases some more balloons, she looked around and sees people all sad and blue.
Captain Sadness: Perfect. Everyone will now feel all sad and miserable and stay like this forever.
???: Don't count on it. *Captain Sadness looked and see them.*
Captain Sadness: I was wondering when you'll ever show up. Feast your eyes on me: Captain Sadness.
Espadon: What are you doing to these people?
Captain Sadness: Oh, they're just enjoying a little mood I like to call "Sadness." Once someone grabs hold of a balloon, it'll pop and they'll feel all sad, blue, and in tears. And they'll stay like that forever. Unless you don't wanna suffer the same fate as the rest of the town, you'll admit to your defeat and give me your miraculous.
White Fang: Sorry, sappy. Not happening. Not after we catch your Akuma.
Captain Sadness: They join the sad town, population: You all. *She let go of her black balloons, and they float towards them.*
Ladybug: Let's try to get close to her. But don't touch the balloon or we'll end up like them. *They nodded once and charge after Captain Sadness. First, they evade the balloons.*
Dovelei: There's so many of them.
Leo: One wrong move and we'll be all sad.
Mister Quills: I got this one. *He points his pin cushion out.* I love to pop balloons. Quills out! *He fires his quill needles and they pop every single balloon that's floating.* There.
Captain Sadness: Hey! Do you know how long it took me to prepare those? You're making me so sad. *She starts to sob and black tears start to fall on her face. Then her locket glowed black and made more balloons. She let them all float towards them.*
Firefly: Seriously? She can make more?
Flora: How is that possible? *Ladybug looked closely at Captain Sadness and see something on her neck.*
Ladybug: Of course. Think I know where the akuma's at. That thing around her neck. That's how she was able to make more black balloons.
Blue Feather: Now we know where it is, how do we get rid of these balloons and deal with her?
Viperia: Without touching them.
Eagle: Allow me. Anga-Langa! *She fly up and flapped her wings and made a huge gust of wind blow the balloons away, Captain Sadness looked up and see her balloons floating away, and she scowled at them. She landed too. Then, the Akuma symbol appeared in her eyes.*
Scarlet Fly: Captain Sadness, they just blew your balloons away. What are you gonna do about it?
Captain Sadness: You ruined my balloons. Now I'm gonna ruin you! *She push her hands out and fired black fire, they all evade the fire blast, Viperia throw her ribbon out and wrapped it around Captain Sadness' wrist, she start to pull away from Viperia, but Viperia start to pull back. Soon, Captain Sadness shoots the black fire on the ribbon, and Viperia fell back.* You'll have to do better than that!

White Fang: Watch out! *Captain Sadness flies up, and she starts to turn and shoot fire from her hands, but they all evade the fire blasts, White Fang made a moon dome appear and protects the others, Captain Sadness scowled and grunts too.*
Captain Sadness: You can't beat me like this. Instead, you all deserve a round of applause! *She clapped her hands once and a sonic fire wave appeared and it hit the dome, it cracked and exploded, and everyone exclaimed and fell back.*
Firefly: That hurt. *he rubbed his head, Blue Feather put on her Hummingbird feather ear cuff, Black Panther put on his Whale necklace, Eagle put on her Falcon armlet, White Fang put on his Praying Mantis amulet, Viperia put on her Wolf ring, Firefly put on his Tiger Shark ring, and Flora put on her White Tiger tiara.*
Leo: We may be down, but we're not out. *They start to get up and faced Captain Sadness.*
Captain Sadness: Oh you want some more? Here you go! *She shoots more black fire from her hands, they evade the fore blast, Blue Feather gets her fan and throws it out like a disc, it struck Captain Sadness in the face.* Ow! *Then, the disc came back and Blue Feather grabbed the disc and fan herself.* You're gonna get it this time.
Ladybug: Get this! Lucky charm! *She throw her yoyo up, a swarm of magical ladybugs appeared, and made a mallet appeared.* A mallet? What am I supposed to do with this? *Soon, some black fireballs were being fired at, Ladybug evade the fireballs, she twirl her yoyo, and deflect the fireballs. Then, a splash of water came and splashed Captain Sadness on the ground.*

Captain Sadness: What the? Water? Who did this?
Black Orca: Head to where you gotta go, we'll hold her off. *Ladybug nodded once, she throw her yoyo out and swing away. The others were already fused with their element miraculous and held off on Captain Sadness.*
