Chapter 96: Tom start cooking and Syndrome's next plan

As 1/2 an hour passes by, everything is starting to calm down as usual, but we know the calmness and quietness don't usually last long. In Marinette's room, Marinette polished up her miracle box, and Tikki and Lockette hover next to Marinette.

Lockette: What are you doing, Marinette?

Marinette: Just polishing my miracle box?

Lockette: Your miracle box?

Tikki: Marinette is being trained to be the next guardian of the miraculous. Master Fu gave her a miracle box of her own.

Marinette: I had this for months. Only use it for unification or just temporarily when our real ones broke or go missing. But ever since we managed to get the miracle box back, haven't used these in battles lately. But I don't want to waste my breath over this.

Lockette: Would you still have me as your guardian?

Marinette: Of course, Lockette. *She holds Lockette with her hands.* I'm not replacing you or anything. *Lockette hugs her.* I have some stuff to do later on. Won't be long. *She gets up and goes to the table and gets her sketchbook and starts on her hat design.*

In the Volcano Lair, Scarlet Truther watched the screen of Paris. Soon, Deker walked by and stopped next to Scarlet Truther.

Deker: So, what does Syndrome have planned?

Scarlet Truther: Not that I know of. Something he has planned.

Deker: Hmm. How was the akuma attack?

Scarlet Truther: Close to success, but failed at the end.

Deker: Think he'll do more?

Scarlet Truther: Probably not. I'll do more, but... probably not. I wanna see what his villains can do and probably do more akumatizing as Scarlet Fly.

Deker: Hmm. *Soon, the double doors opened, Syndrome walked through and Scarlet Truther and Deker turned around and watched him.*

Syndrome: Oh good. You're all here. I have some news to tell you all.

Scarlet Truther: So, what's this master plan?

Syndrome: I'm glad you ask. I know I did the last Akuma creation, but we still have a chance to beat them.

Scarlet Truther: What do you got planned, genius?

Syndrome: You'll find out soon enough. I'll be right back. *He walks away from the main room.*

Scarlet Truther: What do you think he got planned?

Deker: Best bet is to wait for what he has planned. *Scarlet Truther files her nails and waits too.*

In the kitchen, Tom starts getting the stuff ready for dinner. Sabine goes to the kitchen.

Sabine: Okay. What do you have planned for dinner?

Tom: Just a little bit of Italian food. We're having Ratatouille and some Italian bread. I got your lasagna in the oven.

Sabine: Think your dad will like this?

Tom: I'm sure he will. I come from a family of Italians. You already know my mom is Italian and so are Tim and dad.

Sabine: What about Pearl?

Tom: Half Italian and Romanian.

Sabine: Hmm. I did not know that. *He checked on everything in the oven and they're still cooking.*

Tom: Give it another 30 minutes. *Sabine sees the Cannolis on the table, she takes one and eats it. Tom turned around and see Sabine eating a Cannoli.* Hey. What are you doing?

Sabine: You know these cravings kick in. Never keep me going hungry. *She eats another Cannoli.*

Tom: Okay, think that's enough of... *He was reaching for the cannolis, but Sabine smack his hand.*

Sabine: No!

Tom: Hey.

Sabine: I'm hungry. Keep your Gorilla paws away from my cannolis! *She eats another cannoli.*

Tom: Okay, eat away. *He leaves the kitchen and Sabine keeps stuffing her face in cannolis and licking the plate clean.*

Marin: Where's mom?

Tom: In the kitchen, in her cannoli hunger craves. She sees one and she starts chowing them down like she's a Pig in a Barn.

Sabine: I heard that, you big Oompa-Loompa! *She keeps eating her cannoli.*

Rolland: Is she always like that?

Tom: When her mood swings kick in.

Sabine: I don't know what y'all are talking about, but I don't like how you all are talking about me when I'm not here!

Tom: It's getting worse.

Rolland: Huh.
