Let's recap from part 2. So far there were new and old villains coming to Paris and fight off Ladybug, Black Panther, and their team of heroes to get the Miraculouses. But they couldn't get the job done. That didn't stop them from getting new power...
After the fight with Cavity, everything is normal again; well not entirely over. Luka ride his bike home and when he was about to park it and head inside, Lila spotted him.
Lila: Perfect. Time to make Marinette pay with a little bit of heartbreak. *She walks up to Luka.* Hi, Luka. Fancy running into you.

Luka: Outside my houseboat?
Lila: Is that what it is? Must be confused with something else.
Luka: What do you want, Lila? I just got off work and let's just say you're the last person to ever cause trouble.
Lila: Nothing out of the ordinary. (Time to tell him. I want to see him fuming with anger and jealousy.)
Luka: Well, if you're here to say something and expect me to say something, I don't want to hear it. *He was about to walk inside, but Lila hold his hand.*
Lila: Wait. I got something else to tell you. Do you mind?
Luka: What? *He moved his hand away from her hand.*
Lila: His name is Andy. And I don't know if you know but he and Marinette used to date.
Luka: Seriously?
Lila: Yes. They met around Middle school before she had a thing for Adrien and you. I heard he was a player too. Playing and taunting Marinette's feelings. Must be trying to win her back after their break up.
Luka: How do you know that?
Lila: Oh, I uh... li-like I said. I heard it through the grape vines. (Lies: I heard them talking. I just want to see him snap.)
Luka: I highly doubt you heard it through the grapevine, Lila. If Marinette even had an ex-boyfriend, she would've told me about him.
Lila: But isn't being in a relationship mean trusting someone? The question is: Did she trust you with your ex-girlfriend Taylor when she came to Paris to surprise you or something?
Luka: I don't think so.
Lila: See? Think she'll trust you after keeping this little secret from you?
Luka: (Hmm. Why would Marinette tell me about this Andy guy? Ugh. What am I saying? I trust Marinette and she trusts me.) Nice try, Lila. I trust Marinette, so whatever twisted lie you got in your head, it's not gonna work on me.
Lila: I'm not lying this time. We know Adrien just now realizes he's in love with Marinette, but you were in love before he was. Now, this Andy guy might just steal her from you. I'm just saying. I'd start questioning your "girlfriend" if I were you. A little heads up though. *She walk away and smirked too.* Now to watch her crumble.
Plagg: You gonna believe Lila? What if this is one of her lies o get into your head?
Luka: I'm not gonna fall for her lies, Plagg. I have to make sure this isn't just a trick or anything.
Plagg: You trust Marinette, do you?
Luka: Of course I do. But I better go and ask her just to be sure.
Plagg: Good thing you're not gonna jump to a conclusion about it.
Luka: Not like that. *He goes on his bike and rides to Marinette's house.*
In Marinette's house, they were almost done with their lunch.
Bridgette: I'm gonna get something real quick.
Marin: We're gonna head back.
Marinette: I'll join later.
Marin: Okay. *They throw away their trash, Marinette was about to go, but the door knocked.*
Marinette: Hmm. Wonder who could that be? *She walk to the door and opened it, it was Luka.* Hey.

Marinette: You coming into the bakery?
Luka: No. But... I wanna ask you something.
Marinette: Wanna come in?
Luka: Actually, no. Can we talk outside?
Marinette: Uh... sure. *She stepped outside and face Luka.* What's up?
Luka: I know this is not any of my business but... do you have an ex-boyfriend?
Marinette: What?
Luka: Do you have an ex-boyfriend?
Marinette: Yes. I do. But, there's a story behind it. *They sit down on the steps.*
