OPHELIA GROANED, HER HEAD POUNDING IMMENSELY as she started to rub her temples, her blurred vision beginning to concentrate again.
When she got up from the sofa, the first thing she saw was Damon, strapped into a chair with a metal bar stabbed below his chest. Gasping at the sight of him, Ophelia was about to free Damon from the chains, until a voice interrupted her.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Ophelia turned her head to see Mason with his arms folded. Glaring at him, she walked up to the werewolf and gave him a swift slap across the face, but it just went straight through him.
"Oh my god, you're a ghost. How am I able to see you?" Ophelia had the same look Mason did. Their faces were confused, with a hint of fear, not knowing what was happening.
"Ophelia, why are you talking to Mason who is supposed to be dead?" Damon stared at the girl questioningly, wondering if she was going crazy or she was drunk.
"Don't you see him? Mason is here." Damon's eyes soon widened at the name of the werewolf he supposedly killed. He was sure that Ophelia was going crazy, but the sincerity in her voice sold it for him.
Ophelia glared at Mason, wanting to pounce at him urgently, but Damon gave her a warning look, not wanting to make things worse.
"I don't care, I'm letting you go." Ophelia then gripped the metal bar and withdrew it from Damon's chest, making him groan in pain.
"Tell Mason that we're going to have a little talk later."

After being left out of what has happened in the past couple of days, Ophelia had to find out from Stefan that they woke up a vampire hunter who also turns out to be her grandfather. Walking into the Salvatore Boarding house, she stopped in her place, being greeted by the unfamiliar man, who was lying lifeless on the carpet.
Stefan was currently on the phone with Klaus, trying to lure him back into Mystic Falls.
"Your father is dead." The silence on the other line of the phone was clear that Klaus was caught off guard by the sudden statement.
"What did you say to me?"
"Mikael. He's daggered."
"I don't believe you, let me talk to Ophelia." Ophelia's head perked up, at the sound of her name She wasn't sure why Klaus wanted to talk to her. Perhaps, it was the fact that he trusted her more than anyone else currently in the room.
Stefan handed Ophelia his phone soon after, putting it to her ear. "Klaus?"
"Ophelia, darling, is this potential crisis true that Mikael, your grandfather, is daggered?" Looking at Stefan and Damon, Ophelia knew what she had to say.
"Yes, it's true. He is here with me right now. I saw it with my own eyes."
"Okay love, don't worry, I'm on my way back home right now." With that, Klaus hung up the phone, leaving Ophelia relieved that her plan was working. She didn't want to kill Klaus, but if it meant getting her father back, Ophelia would do anything.

Mikael woke up dramatically, coughing for the vast few seconds, making Ophelia prepared for what she was about to say to her lovely grandfather. There were a lot of words that she wanted to tell Mikael, but it would not be appropriate.
"You must be my granddaughter, Ophelia. Last time I saw you, you were a small child."
Ophelia didn't want to have to go down memory lane with a grandpa who tried to kill her family. Glaring at him immensely, she went straight to the question she wanted an answer to dearly.
"Why would you ever dare to go after my family? They are your children, you shouldn't-"
"Niklaus is not my child!" The sudden outburst of Mikael made Ophelia nervous about her being with him. "He never was."
"But you still have your other children!" It was now Ophelia's turn to get angry. She never understood Mikael's intentions and thought it was extremely preposterous. Walking up closer to the man, Ophelia stared straight into his eyes, not caring what he could do to her.
"Listen to me old man, I don't care who you are, but if you dare cross me or my friends, I would not hesitate to try and kill you." After a small silence, Mikael laughed hysterically at his grandchild.
"You have your father's bravery and your uncle's temper. I can see how you're a Mikaelson. You have the heart of a warrior." Ophelia's glare stuck with Mikael's eyes with no intention of giving up on this argument.
"You better get ready for homecoming, granddaughter. We have a big night ahead of us."
Mikael walked past Ophelia, their shoulders brushing against each other. When it came to temper, Mikael was right about that. Ophelia inherited the Mikaelson temper. Walking to her room, Ophelia took out a dress from the closet, getting prepared for the eventful night.
There was a part of her where she did not want to kill Klaus, but for the sake of getting her father back, there was nothing that could stop Ophelia. Even when it meant going against her family.
