Just an OC I've been thinking of.

Leaf's P.O.V.

I had always felt drawn to the water. The cool blue substance had always felt more of a home than the land of any where I was supposed to feel comfortable as a sort of dragon. I was an odd creature, and stood out from the others of my server, most of whom were human.

I was a dragon of sorts, with large, scaly wings with that consisted of tight skeletal membranes placed between bony, finger-like structures. My body resembled that of a cat. Larger than your average housecat, but smaller than the big cats you see in the wild, such as tigers and lions.

My body was thin and lithe, mostly covered in a pale cream fur, with streaks of green and brown running through it. My wings were an odd mixture of brown, green, and gold, that made it seem like the forest when you look up into the trees and see bits of sunlight penetrating the canopy.

Currently, I found myself sitting at a lakeshore, pondering recent events that had occured. There had been a glitch in the main world that occasionally sent people through to random servers uninvited. It was wreaking quite the havoc.

Staring out over the deep blue surface, I felt the sudden urge to dive in. I took off my plain, white green tee and and shorts, leaving on my underwear so that I wasn't completely naked.

I proceeded to wade into a shallow part of the lake, before flaring open my wings and flapping off into the sky. I tuck my wings in to begin a dive, and plummet towards a deeper part of the lake.I

Breaking through the surface, my vision was suddenly warped. Colors swirled around everywhere in my vision, and I no longer felt like I was in water. Feeling around, no sensation came. It felt like a void. And endless space of nothingness that somehow existed.

And a second later, everything came back. Sounds were first, the wooshing of water, and then muffled shouting. Feeling came next, the water washing over me in a calming sensation the soothed my frayed still nerves.

Smells came third. The sharp scent of fish mixed in with the fainter, misty scent of seagrass and kelp. Sight came last. I was already expecting to be seeing water all around me, dotted with the occasional school of fish or clump of kelp.

What I had not expected to see was a pair of legs swimming through the water towards me. Instinct kicked in, and I pushed my wings to paddle myself as fast as a dolphin through the water.

I could hold my breath for a long time, so there was no need to come up for air. I swam as far as I could without taking a breath, before shooting out of the water and into the air, panting heavily.

I flew in one direction, searching for a landmass on the horizon. Meanwhile, I was also looking out for other players, diving back into the water whenever I spotted one with my sharp vision so that they wouldn't see me.

It was maybe fifteen minutes before I came upon an empty landmass, and I had come across two people in the sky. This must be a very busy server, I thought.

The landmass looked foreign, and I realized I was not in the main world. A mixture of fear, anxiousness, and an out of place sense of relief. I guessed the relief came from the fact I was away of the life I lived in the main world as an outcast.

I had no family in the main world, no friends, just the water. I was shunned as an outcast for my unusual, if not completely unique appearance. There was not another soul known to the world like me.

I was also scared of where this place was. Quite a few servers were either not very welcoming to newcomers, completely isolated from the outside world, or in a constant state of chaos.
