chapter 19/ what i like about you

Luke's pov

when i saw Scar , she was breath taking

gorgeous

but everything is messed up , even our hugs are messed up

but she had to shortly leave after. But she looked slightly aggravated at Calum. I saw them whispering to each other.

ok?

Jillian went to go sit. Since she doesnt really need to be on the red carpet

we all walk out to the red carpet and i see Scar posing for pictures and she even laughs at something someone says

god shes so beautiful.

so we pose for some pictures and answer some questions and we finally get to the last interviewer

"Hello. Im Cameron Johnson, and i have 5 Seconds of Summer here with me." Cameron says into the camera then turns to us

"hello boys" he says with a smile and we all say "hey" back and smile

"ok so we have a few questions. First one: Luke. I hear that you and Scarlette Adams were a couple? How was that"'he asks pushing the microphone to my face causing it to almost hit my lips

"well it was fine? i dont really know how to explain it" i say with a awkward laugh.

"Really? Because she said almost the same thing. Why did you guys break up?" he asks confused

now im confused. I want to know what she said

"well i want to tell you. But not everyone needs to know." i say turning to the camera with a smile then turn back go Cameron

"ok then." he says turning to all of us instead of just me

"One final question. Are you boys excited to perform tonight?" Cameron asks

"Yes, we are performing our cover of What I Like About You" Ashton says with a cheeky smile

"Ok well thank you boys!" he says with a chuckle then turns back to the camera and we all wave and walk away

once we are done we make our way back inside and i see Scar making her way ,with her dress flowing behind her, over to Justin

i guess he's ok?

as long as shes happy im happy.

we go and sit down in our spot. Which just so happens to be across from Scar and Justin

1 hour into the show , it is finally time for our category

i hear all the nominees, then i hear Scar's name at the end and she looks so happy

"And the winner is" Jennifer Goodwin says then opens the envelope

"Scarlette Adams!" she says and Scar just jumps up and hugs Justin

i couldnt be happier that she got this award. But it just sucks that i cant be the one to hug her, or congratulate her like Justin can.

i know i messed up, but i wish Scar would just give me a chance to explain myself..

"WOO GO SCAR!" Jillian yells snapping me out of my thoughts, Scar just turns to all of us and gives us a cheesy smile and holds up her thumb

she quickly walks on stage and hugs Jennifer then goes to the mic

"Oh god" she says shakily but still smiling

"I was not expecting this, so i have nothing written down. So i will just wing it" she says chuckling causing everyone to laugh also
