Your heart was beating faster than a whippet's sprint. You felt your scalp turn moist as your head gushed with sweat. It felt like one hundred voices surrounded you. The pressure of rain turned to tons. Your whole body was shaking when you felt a hand on your shoulder, you jumped and turned around to see Arthur standing there looking sorrowfully into your alarmed eyes. Your body took control, you squeezed him and burst into tears, your cries were drowned out by his cotton shirt. He gripped you tightly, one hand on your back and the other petting your hair. He rocked you slowly, side to side grounding you. You screamed into him until your body had nothing left inside, leaving you numb and cold.
Arthur led you to a wooden chair, he sat down and took his coat off, you sat on his knee and he draped his leather coat over your shoulders. Rain spat down hopelessly. You just lay there on Arthur, listening to his heart beat and the silent patter of rain on your jacket. Dutch began to walk over. He spied you and the two of you made eye contact. You could see him contemplate something before he turned in the opposite direction and sent Charles and Javier on their way. Probably to look for a new camp. You hadn't a single idea where you could go, but they will figure it out though, you thought to yourself. You knew this wasn't the end of the road for you and fighting. That's something you understood when joining the gang and you were happy with the life you had now chosen, but for now, you were just going to lay there, being cradled by the man who saved your life, not for the first time and not for the last.

A few hours went by and the sun was starting to go to sleep behind the many grassy hills of The Heartlands. You were on your way to the new camp. You were in a carriage with Arthur. The horses trots were in time, creating a rhythm as you watched the sun dazzle in the distance. There was a do and a deer couple who were leaping through the overgrown fields together. Deer's always had been your favourite animal, even when you were a kid you used to draw the deers you'd see exploring the farm. They always gave you a big sense of comfort."You like looking at the scenery don't you?" Arthur asked you with a smile, holding the horses rails "I like to watch the animals." You explained "they live such innocent and easy lives."
"I like watching them too." He replied looking straight ahead, the evening sun illuminated the soft skin on his face and made his hair shimmer "What animal do you think I would be if I was one?" He asked, grinning. It didn't take long for you to come up with your answer....
"A deer." You smiled at him."Strange," he replied "I always thought of you as a do."
