A guy with his head down as his long black hair covers his face walks towards a hundred-year-old tree while the sun sets upon him. He puts his right hands on the trunk as he slowly leans his head towards the tree. He closed his eyes.
.
.
"A dream?" said the guy with the long black hair sitting down beside the tree as he waited for the warm sky to turn cold and city lights to turn on. A woman wearing a white skirt walked passed him, and he was reminded of his childhood friend. His eyes sparkled in excitement and instantly stood up and runs to her.
"Miss! Excuse m-." The moment he grabbed her arms, her handbag came rushing to his face and he passed out.
Moments later, he woke up sitting by The tree as he touches his face trying to remember what happened, the woman loudly said "I'm terribly sorry mister! I'm just new here and I was just surprised that someone just grabs my arm from behind." While bowing her head. She lifts it up and ask, "Does it still hurt?"
"No, no, no, no, I'm fine, thank you." As he shakes his hands in front of him. He bowed his head and said, "I'm sorry for surprising you like that, this is entirely my fault you don't need to apologize." "It's totally understandable since a stranger like me suddenly grabbed you from behind." He added while laughing.
She laughed as well and said, "You seem like a nice guy – so, what did you wanted to tell me?"
"Oh... it's nothing, you just reminded me of someone I was waiting for." He answered.
"Now I feel bad... didn't she showed up for your date?" "It's okay, you can try again." She added while patting his back.
"No! HAHAHA that's not it at all." He replied.
"Then what was it about then?" she asked.
"Well... You may not believe it but this tre-." Then a sudden phone call for her interrupted him.
"Oh! I'm sorry! I forgot about the time. I need to go." She stood up and dashed to the nearest bus station. He took a deep breathe and said, "I didn't even ask for her name." and he noticed that she left her handbag with him.
It has already been an hour since he arrived home. All he did was to stare at the bag contemplating whether or not it is alright to look into it.
"It is okay to look right? I mean, in order to return it I need to investigate?" he asked himself. "But what if I found something serious inside?! L-like a secret document or... a murder weapon?!" He shouted as he steps further away from the bag.
"What should I do?!" he is panicking going around his apartment room scratching his head. "Well... I guess I'll just give it to the police station downstairs."
He walks out his door and as he looks towards the hallway.
"You are that girl that knocked me out by the park!" he shouted while he points his finger to her.
"You are that creepy guy by th-... my bag!" she shouted back in shock and yelled for help. "Thief!!"
"No, no, no, no, no! I didn't open the bag and I was on my way to bring this to the police station." His nodding his head left to right as he give the bag to her. "Do you live here as well?" he asked.
"I'm not telling you." As she took her bag and squint her eyes with suspicion.
"But you were just coming out from the room..." he said.
"Does that mean I live here?" she confidently answered.
"But you are wearing your pajamas..."
"So? I'm just here to sleep over with my friend." She answered back.
