Chapter 1: the start

Btw can I clarify that this book does get better as it goes along😂 anyway I hope I enjoy!

Rileys POV:

The sun from the window shine brightly causing me to wake up. I rub my eyes and lightly yawn. I feel a light kiss placed on my cheek and it causes me to giggle slightly.
"Morning babe" James mumbles in my hair. his voice is always ruff in the morning and it makes me shudder slightly. I turn over and smile as he kisses me again on my forehead.
"Morning" i whisper softly yawning again. I nestle my head in his chest and curl up and he puts his arm around me.
"I know your tired but you gotta get up" he chuckles slightly, I look up and pout which makes him chuckle more.
Today is the first day the studio opens after internationals, me and James have taken over the studio as Miss Kate moved away to judge a reality show. We have a pretty big day since we have to audition new dancers and deal with all the paper work from the new J troupers and we have to sort out the baby ballet classes and the auditioning schedules throughout this month.
"Can't we just stay here for a while" I whisper as I burry myself in his chest while he hugs me tight. I wish I could just stay here all day.
"I wish we could babe but we have stuff to do today, remember?" I sigh as he pulls away from the hug and stand up. I sit up in the bed and James throws my dress and jacket onto the bed. He walks into the bathroom and I get changed.
"So how are you feeling about today?" I hear James ask from the other room.
"Ok I guess, just a bit nervous about all the work there is to do in one day" I sigh as I put on a bit of makeup and comb through my hair.
"You'll be fine, you've got the best boyfriend by your side" he smirks as he walks into the bedroom again.
"The best boyfriend?" I repeat as I stand up and walk over to him.
"Yep" I smile as he places a kiss on my lips. I stand on my tip toes and wrap my arms around his neck as he pulls me in for a hug.
"How did I get so lucky" he says while I rest my head on his shoulders.
"How did you get so lucky? How did I get so lucky" I giggle softly as he kisses my neck.
"I love you" he whispers in my ear making me shudder. He makes me feel safe and calm whenever I'm close to him.
"I love you too" I reply quietly.
I pull out of the hug and I kiss him lightly. we exchange looks and I smile at him before laying my head on his shoulder again. I know that I'm safe in his arms.
