I finished my suspension and we were getting our assignment results back today. Mr Pitt put my result face down on the desk. A. Shit that's my first one. Ever.
"Liking the A?" Ryan asked smirking
"Meh it's alright" but inside I was really liking it. It could possibly do me good. I pulled my phone out and texted Josh.
Z- guess what great news
J- you lost your virginity? :D
Z- no -_-
J- Xavier dumped that bitch and is dating you???
Z- what eww no
J- I dunno I give up what
Z- you suck at guessing. I've got my first A
J- nice its good isn't it
Z- meh it's alright
J- riiiight....
I put my phone away before Mr Pitt noticed I had it out and took it away from me.
"You like Xavier?" Ryan asked
"As a friend" I looked down at my paper and pretended to read the comment
"Sure. You do like him I'm not stupid. I knew you for years and-"
"Okay okay I do like him. Happy?"
"Very. This is going to be good to black mail you with this you know" he laughed; noticing the expression on my face. Shit I'm fucked.
"She returns!" Elliot called out from further down the hall I went up to him and gave him a noggie.
"Haha miss me?"
"Didn't even know you were gone"
"Thanks man"
"Hey prom date" David said to me when he got out of class
"Hey you ready for it?"
"Yeah you gonna pick me up?"
"You guys are going together?" Elliot asked
"Yeah you got a date yet?"
"Na"
"Let's go as a three some!"
"Sure why not" me and Elliot agreed
"What's everyone talking about?" Xavier asked coming towards us with Carmen around his arm.
"That we're going not as a couple to the dance but a three some" Elliot said
"Haha lucky Zoe going with 2 guys"
"They just my bitches" I said wrapping my arms around them going all pimp. Causing everyone but Carmen to laugh.
"What colour is your dress?" David asked
"Why?"
"So we know what colour tie to wear"
"Do we have to wear a tie? I was just going to wear a shirt" Elliot said
"It's a black dress and Elliot please wear pants with the shirt"
"But I don't wanna" he whined "fine just cause you're awesome"
"Thank you"
"So Xavier what time are you picking me up at?" Carmen asked
"Whenever you're ready babe" he said kissing her on the lips, the kiss turning into a full blown make out session. After Elliot told them to get a room we went off to the cafeteria and ate our lunch, Ryan, Blake and the rest of their group staring at us and Carmen smiling flirtatiously. Whore. How can Xavier not see it, not see what she's doing.
"Hey dudes what time do you plan on being there by?" Xavier asks
"When we get there" I shrug
"When we get you ready?" David says since he said he was going to do my makeup and hair.
"Like you'll actually realistically be able to get her ready in time" Carmen says
"At least I don't look like a wh-" Xavier put his hands over my mouth but didn't see Carmen pick up her water. As soon as he sat down she dumped it over me. I tried to jump over to get her but got pulled back by the guys
"You've just got back from suspension I doubt it'll be a good idea to get into a fight now" Elliot warned. Carmen stood there smiling smugly.
"Whatever" I growled at them and walked into the halls as fast as I could leaving my friends behind.
"You okay" a guy asked sitting next to me.
"Hmm? Yeah fine, fucking ,fantastic. You?" I think he was the new guy. James I think.
"Obviously. I'm fine. What's up?" I looked at him. I made him the laughing stock of the school; not on purpose but still and he still was trying to be nice to me?
"Nothing"
"Sure"
"Don't want to talk about it"
"Okay" we sat in silence for the rest of lunch.
When I got home I put my assignment paper on the counter so mum and dad could see it. I went upstairs showered and put the black dress on and the necklace that Josh gave me before he left, then waited for David to arrive and do my makeup and hair.
