HEATHER'S POV

After a long week of rehearsals it was Friday.

Wait let me recap.

Monday:

After lunch break I went to the bathroom to wash my hands. When Lacey came in.

I turned towards her. "Look Lacey, I know that there is something heavy in the air and I'm sorry. I think we should just start over." I smiled at her.

"Ha that's cute. You think I can just forgive you for taking MY role." She pushed me against the wall. "Now you listen here! I was promised that part. And since you obviously aren't giving up the part, well just watch your back." And with that she turned on her heel and walked out of the bathroom.

Tuesday:

I noticed Lacey watching me the whole beginning of rehearsal.

During the last number she tripped me.
Luckily I didn't fall on my knee again but it still hurt.

Luckily she didn't bug me the rest of the week but she was looking at me again today.

We were on our lunch break and Ashley, Kelly, and I went to go get a sandwich and a coffee.

After we sat down Kelly gave me a concerned look. "Has Lacey been giving you any trouble?"

"A little bit, but nothing I can't handle."

"You talk to us if anything happens."

"You know I will."

Once we got back it was Kelly's turn to work on her numbers. So Ashley and I sat and talked and laughed. I still notice Lacey staring at me.

Once Kelly was done it was Ashley's big number so Kelly and I sat and talked and still Lacey was glaring at me.

Finally it was my turn. I got in my position with Lacey right next to me.

Once the music started we were halfway through the first verse when Lacey stuck out her foot and I tripped. Luckily I didn't fall.

"Heather are you ok?" Laura the director asked.

"Yeah I'm fine." I looked at Lacey. "I just tripped."

"Ok let's take it from the top."

We started it up again and I didn't even get through the first line when Lacey kicked the back of my knees making me fall backwards. I hit my head on the hard ground. I couldn't breathe. There was ringing in my ears.

"Heather!" Ashley and Kelly were over me and Kelly was on the phone probably calling an ambulance.

That's the last thing I saw before I blacked out.
