My alarm went off, I hopped out of bed and I was so excited to go get alaia from the hospital today.

My mom knocked on my door. "Come in"I said.

"You're going to get alaia right ?"she asked me.

"Yes ma'am" I said throwing on my shoes.

"You're bringing her back here, or is she going home?"my mom asked.

"It's whatever she wants"I said.

"Well I'm making breakfast, I really want her to come. Maybe her and her family"

"Yeah she has a little sister.. but I don't know about that mom, her family- they aren't normal"I said.

My mom scoffed "and we are??"she said.

"Mom I didn't mean it like-"

"You bring alaia and her family here! Got it?"she said.

"Whatever" I grabbed my keys and walked out of my room outside into my car.

"Billie I'm serious!" My mom yelled as she stood on the porch.

"Byeeee" I said pulling off.

At the hospital...
"Here she is"the nurse said as she let me in.

"You already to go?"I asked smiling.

"Yeah" alaia said as she took a deep breath in.

"So my mom wants you to stop by for breakfast is that alright?" I asked as we walked out the hospital.

She nodded at me.

"But.."

"There's a but?"she giggled.

"She wants your family to come and meet them."I said to her.

"I- I- mean I guess that's okay, wow.. that's gonna be tough Bil" she said to me as I nodded.

We both got into the car and alaia called her peoples so they can meet up at my house.

At breakfast.

Alaïa's P. O. V.

"Don't be so nervous.. I believe it'll go well"Billie said.

The door bell rang and my grandmother and my mother came in.

I watched everything from the kitchen. My grandmother smiled and greeted billie "hiii billie my favorite girl"she said hugging her and Billie smiled.

My mom smiled "hi I'm Alaïa's mom" she shook her hand. "Hi nice to meet you" billie said.

"Oh don't close the door yet her aunt and ky'yl are coming" my grandmother said sitting down.

"Oh okay I'll just wait for her I wanna welcome everyone"billie said with a nervous giggle and I knew the reasoning behind that nervous giggle due to the fact what happened last time we had a meal  with my aunt!

My aunt knocked on the door and billie let her in billie tried to greet her with a welcome but my aunt just looked up and down at her and scoffed.

Wth so rude.

I sat down next to billie in the same chairs we always sat in.

My aunt stared at me and billie the entire time.

The table was silent, everyone was silent.

"Everything smells delicious Ms. O'Connell"my grandmother said.
