I walked inside the house and Wales upstairs I first looked in Ky's room she was still asleep.

Then I went towards my moms room and she wasn't there and all her things were gone.

I knew sooner or later that would happen.

But I didn't show any emotions to it and I don't know why.

I got into my pajamas and got into my bed.

My phone went off.

I smiled at the message it made my night okay.

I woke up to the sound of the doorbell ringing.

I got up put my pink robe on and went downstairs to open the door.

It was my aunt.

My auntie is a homophobic and a Christian she hates the fact that I'm gay.

But she's the best auntie ever.

"Hi Lela oh my god are you girls alright."she said hugging me.

My grandmother was behind her. I smiled to see her it's been really hard lately.

"Hi" I hugged them both.

"So we have to have a little talk" my Aunt said.

"Now um I've heard that your mom left and I don't think she's coming back anytime soon" she said.

"We also don't have any track of your dad but we are searching for them both but until further notice you and ky have a choice"

"You both can move in with me to Miami or stay here and move in with grandma now I know this is a tough Choi-"I cut her off I already knew I wasn't going to move out of highland park.

"I'm staying here with grandma and that's final"I said sternly.

"Now wait a minute no-"my aunt began to the say.

"No you said it was her decision and if she chooses to stay here she can I won't have you peer pressure my granddaughter"Grandma said.

The next day. 6:15am.

I stopped my alarm and got ky'yl up for school.

I can't believe this is the last night I'll be spending in the home I grew up in.
