Alaïa's p. O. V.

"Why are you young ladies speeding?"the cops asked us.

"Uhmmm because we were in a-"Zoe was about to sell us all out.

"We got jumps by some girls at the mall and we're just trying to get away"billie cut Zoe off.

"Billie how many times do I have to tell you about speeding"the cop said.

"I know I know officer Dan"billie rolled her eyes.

This isn't the first time she's been pulled over?

Interesting...

"I'm gonna have to tell your parents about this" he said.

"Yeah I whatever, can you just write me the ticket and let me get going please"she said annoyed.

"Yes Ma'am I'm letting you off with a warning Ms. O'Connell you keep making mistakes like this when you're 18 who knows where you'll end up"

Billie just looked straight at the ride and didn't say anything.

He wrote her a ticket. "You ladies be safe"he waved.

We all waved back.

And Billie was free to pull off.

"Woah what was that?"I asked.

"My fucking idiot uncle, he's not even my real uncle he's my dads friend"she said annoyed.

"He's a real shit show huh?"I said.

She nodded.

"Damnit Zoe you almost totally sold us out!"billie said. 

"I'm sorry I- I've been fucking up a lot lately"Zoe said.

"It's not your fault"billie said.

"Yeah it isn't"and I agreed.

The rest of the car ride was silent.

We finally pulled up to Zoe's house.

I guess she was taking Zoe home.

Zoe got out "just let me know if you need anything"billie shouted out the window.

"Can you pick me up tomorrow for the dance?"she asked.

Billie have her a thumbs up and we waited for her to get inside then billie drove off to my house.

We pulled up.

"Go in there and ask your grandmother if I can stay the night"Billie said.

"Okay sure" I said. I wasn't expecting that.

She wants to stay at my  house. IN MY ROOM.

I'm freaking out dude.

Before I could even get out billie said "WAIT WAIT"she yelled.

"Whaaaaat????"i asked.

She got out and walked to the other side to open the door for me

Super dramatic.

I giggled.

I walked towards the front door and opened the door.

I didn't see my grandmother in the living room so I assumed she was in the kitchen.

But why?

"Oh good Alaïa you're here mi hija (my daughter)"she said cooking multiple things at once.
