Change (Sammy Wilk Fanfiction)

Part 42

*AN: Thank you so much for 60k! I still can't believe so many people read my story. Anyways I don't know yet how many more chapters I'm going to write but once this fanfiction is finished I'll start a Ashton one! Enjoy :)

KAITLYNN'S POV

After you know what happened between Sammy and me we walked back to the party holding hands. Some people were looking at us weirdly probably wondering where we had been in the past hour. I also got some jealous looks from a few girls but I couldn't care less anymore. 

By now it was already around 2 am but we were all still dancing. I guess the party was a success! I got to know Nash, Cameron, Matt and their girlfriends Megan, Sasha and Riley. Riley had a pruple ombré which made me super jealous because it suits her so well and I don't think any colour besides dark brown will ever look good on me.

The girls invited me to go shopping with them some time and obviously I said yes. They were all really nice to me and we were having a great time. I can't believe I had met so many nice people today and I actually made more friends than I have made during my entire school life. I feel like I've finally found my place and the right people who share the same interests as me.

I think I'll just have to survive senior year and then I can hang out with all of them all the time. I don't know yet what I'm gonna do after school but I hope I can stay here with my friends. This summer totally changed my life. I have lost my best friend and my dad kind of as well. I have made new enemies but most importandly I have met Sammy and I hope I won't ever loose him. I've made so many new friends like Mona, Jordina, Alex and obviously the Jacks, Nate and Kenny. I have refound Jada who was once my best friend. I've gotten a lot closer with all of them this summer and I don't think I have ever been this happy. 

I've realized that if you want to be happy you have to deal with all the negative stuff in life because one day you're going to live a life without that. I'm glad that Rose showed me that I shouldn't trust people easily and I should just enjoy life and all the people that are in it. Because you can never know when they are going to leave you.

After sitting alone at the beach thinking about this summer the party was over and everyone went home. We decided to just clean the beach in the morning so we drove home and went to bed right away.

"Kate get up! It's like 2 in the afternoon! Fine I'm getting a ice water bucket!" Someone's voice woke me up. It was Sammy yelling. After I realized what he said I jumped off the bed as fast as possible. "I'm up!" I yelled which made Sammy laugh. 

We quickly took a shower, got dressed and ate something. You couldn't call it breakfast because it was obviously already afternoon. Johnson, Gilinsky, Mona and Jordina were probably already at the beach so we just woke Nate and Alex up. Together we drove to the beach so we could help cleaning up.

As we arrived we already saw Johnson etc. walking around and also Nate's sister Chloe and Bryant. We started listening to music and helped put all the chairs back into Chloe's house and stuff. After a while I noticed that I still hadn't thanked Bryant for everything he had done for me so I asked him if we could talk in a private place. We walked a while away from the others and then sat down on the beach.

"So we haven't exactly talked in a while but.. I just want to say thank you. Thanks for helping me deal with Rose and everything. You've really helped me get over this and my life is a lot better. You didn't have to help me but you did so I don't even know how to thank you. And don't even apologize for what Carter made you do just forget about that. But yeah thank you so much."

"I's so happy you forgive me! I felt so bad for what I did but I'm glad this is all over now."

"Yeah me too."  I said smiling and gave him a tight hug. We walked back to the others and  cleaned up the rest of the beach. By the end of the afternoon we were finally done.

"Let's go out and eat at a fancy restaurant." Sammy suggested as we got into the car.

"Sure! Can you drop me off at mine?"

"Yeah! I'll pick you up at seven" He said and drove to my house.

I took a quick shower and then got dressed in a red short dress and black heels. I curled my hair and did my hair naturally. By 6:30 I was already ready so I just chilled in my living room and checked twitter. Obviously everyone was talking about Rose and me. Some people were also apologizing for giving me hate and I had gained a lot of followers. I wanted to check Rose's twitter but somehow she had deleted it. I'm kind of glad she did it because now she can just focus on herself for a while.

Before I could stalk people on twitter more someone knocked on the door. I checked the time. It was seven. That must be Sammy! I grabbed my purse and phone and then walked over to my door.

Sammy greeted me with a tight hug and a short kiss. He looked really handsome today. His outfit was similar to his Teen's choice awards outfit and it suited him really well. Sammy opened his car door for me and then we both got in and he started driving. Today was going to be amazing.
