Part 27

*AN: Thanks for 20k reads! I honestly wanted to update two days ago but I went on a spontaneous skiing trip and had no wifi and this chapter turned out really short but I'm gonna update the next chapter really soon!

KAITLYNN'S POV

"Kate? Do you want to go to the store so that you can change your number?" Sammy asked me as I walked into the kitchen.

"Yeah sure. Can I eat something first?"

"Yeah just eat whatever you want to."

Okay so I've had a really bad day. Usually I'd eat chocolate or something like that but I honestly don't really want to gain weight I just need to keep my bathing suit body for a while. You never know when it will come in handy. I grabbed a banana, my phone and my purse and walked outside to Sammy's car.

45 MINUTES LATER (*AN: Idk how long it takes to get a new number so i just took a random time)

I managed to actually change my number and stuff so after a while Sammy and I finally walked out of the store again. Outside I accidentally bumped into someone. "Sorry I didn't look where I was going." I quickly apologized. "It's fine." The other person replied. I recognized that voice but I definitely didn't want to talk to this person but I eventually did.

"Bryant! I'm glad I ran into you! I have a lot of questions anyways."

"Oh you know I don't have a lot of time right now.. Maybe another time."

"Why did you never tell me that you were Carter's cousin?"

"I wanted to but you.."

"Oh stop it. We both know you never planned on telling me. Did you know about his plan?"

"He never.. No I don't."

"Stop lying. I'm not dumb! Why didn't you warn me? I thought we were friends?"

"It's complicated.."

"Yeah sure. Fuck you. I'm so dumb for trusting you! I'm so dumb for trusting everyone I meet. Note to myself: Never trust anyone. But one day you'll all get what you deserve." I shouted and stormed off. Sammy stood there silent the whole time but he kept talking to Bryant while I was already in the car.

SAMMY'S POV

"Dude what the fuck?" I asked Bryant once Kate left.

"It's really not how it seems!"

"You better leave my girl alone! I'm sick of people hurting her. I've always thought you were a good guy and shit but no you aren't. Don't ever talk to her again!" I said and stormed off just the way that Kate did.

"You okay babe?" I asked Kate as I got into the car.

"Yeah I'm fine."

Liar. I know she wasn't okay but I decided to give her some space and time to think. But I feel like I should just cheer her up and do something with her that she always wanted to do. I might call her mom when I get home.

We arrived at mine and Kate put Netflix on to watch some show. I walked upstairs into my room and called Laura, Kate's mom.

"Sam! I was just thinking about you! Is Kaitlynn fine?"

"Not really but she'll get through this.. Anyways I was wondering if she had like a bucket list or something in her room."

"Yeah she has been writing her bucket list for a year now. Do you want to come pick it up now?"

"Thanks yes I'll be there in a bit."

I walked back into the living room to see Kate asleep on the couch. I turned off the tv and put a blanket over her. "I'll be right back" I whispered right before leaving. It was 10 pm so I decided to go on a date with Kate tomorrow and just pick the bucket list up now and sleep. I hope I can cheer my girl up tomorrow. 

KAITLYNN'S POV

"Wake up princess. It's time to eat breakfast." I was woken up by Sammy at around 11 am.

"Ugh do I have to?" I asked him.

"Yeah we have plans today."

"But can't we just stay here in bed all day?"

"Once you find out what my surprise for you is you'll change your mind."

That actually made me really excited for today. I don't even want to think about what happened yesterday. I eventually got up to do my morning routine and then I walked downstairs into the kitchen. "What are we eating?" I asked him. "Waffles." He said and smirked. He knows how much I love them.

After we finished eating we both got dressed in normal outfits and packed some stuff. Sammy didn't tell me where we were going but he said that after I fell asleep yesterday he already packed everything I'll need. All I knew was that we were going swimming because he packed one of my bathing suits. I can't wait anymore! Today will be awesome.
