Part 23

*AN: In case you're wondering what happened to Kaitlynn's car I forgot that it was still at Bryant's house so I guess he drove it back to her house after the shooting!

KAITLYNN'S POV

After a couple hours of just relaxing or swimming I decided it was time for me to get ready for dinner. Sammy and I got into his car and he dropped me off at mine. We walked to my door together and I gave him a short kiss on the cheek and a hug.

Before walking inside I checked the driveway to see if my mom's car was here. Fortunately It wasn't. I ran straight into my bathroom to get ready. *an hour later* Sammy was going to pick me up in 30 minutes and I was currently standing in front of my closet to pick my outfit out. If I was still friends with Rose she would have helped me. But I'm glad we aren't friends anymore.

After trying on multiple outfits I decided to wear a short black dress and some black heels. I combined it with a silver necklace and a silver clutch. Since we're going to a fancy restaurant Sammy will probably wear a suit. Am I emotionally prepared for that? Nope. I checked myself in the mirror a couple times and just as I was happy with the way I looked someone knocked on the door. Okay I got this. I took a deep breath and opened the door.

He was wearing a suit. He looked so perfect I honestly didn't know what he was doing with me. He deserved someone better. He put on his charming smile and eyed me up and down.

"Wow. You look beautiful in that dress." He said.

"Thanks. You don't look to bad yourself." I responded and bit my lip. Who am I kidding he looks really fucking hot. Excuse my language but for real.

Sammy held my hand and walked me to his car. He opened it for me like always. He then got inside the car as well. "Where are we going anyways" I asked him. "It's a surprise babe." He said and smirked. Babe. I really don't mind him calling me that.

About 20 minutes later we arrived. As we were standing in front of the huge fancy restaurant I was really amazed. It basically looked like a table for two would coast a million dollars. It made me feel really bad though because in the past few days Sammy had spent so much money for me. I really wanted to pay for our food that night.

While I was standing there admiring the view Sammy was holding my hand. After a while we looked at each other and I could feel butterflies in my stomach. And I could also feel an empty stomach because I hadn't eaten in forever.

"Sammy it's so beautiful here! I've never heard of this place before. I'm pretty sure it's really expensive though. I should pay tonight!" I said.

"I randomly found this restaurant while driving by and thought it would be a nice place to eat at with you. Don't worry about the price. It really doesn't matter. I would pay any price for you. Should we go inside?" He asked me.

Since I was hungry I nodded and we walked inside holding hands. Sammy talked to some woman and she showed us our table. It was outside and we had an amazing view. We could see the ocean and a few mountains. The sun was about to go down which made everything even more beautiful. We thanked the woman and sat down.

"The view is beautiful." I said.

"Not as beautiful as you though."

I blushed and looked down. A waiter who was probably around our age came and we ordered our food and drinks. Sammy seemed kind of mad after the waiter left.

SAMMY'S POV

That stupid waiter was totally checking Kate out! Can't he see that she has a date? He needs to learn to leave my girl alone! I swear I need to control myself or else I will punch him right into the face. She's mine. Well she's not actually mine but I will make her soon!

"Everything okay Sammy?" Kate asked me. Damn her voice calmed me down immediately.

"Yeah.. it's just that stupid waiter needs to find his own girl and stop flirting with my girl."

"He was flirting with me? Ugh Sammy stop overreacting! He didn't do anything"

"The way he looked at you though. It was disgusting."

"Awe is someone jealous? Don't worry even if he tried something I would just ignore him."

"You're right babe." I said and smirked as I saw her blushing as I called her babe.

KAITLYNN'S POV

Sammy is so cute. I needed to check myself so I excused myself and walked inside to look for a bathroom.

"You looking for something?" The waiter who served us earlier asked as he approached me.

"Uh yeah.. Where is the bathroom?"

"Right over there" He replied pointing to a door on the left. How could I miss that oops. "So I was wondering if you could give me your number?"

Oh. I guess Sammy was right. "No sorry but I'm not interested."

"Right. Anyways your boyfriend or whatever he is will pay for you tonight? You know this restaurant is really expensive. Are you going to let him pay like 500 dollars for you?"

"What do you want from me?"

"Let's make a deal. You give me your number and your boy will only have to pay half of the price. We'll just tell him it's a bonus because he was our 1000th guest or something. And he will never know that I have your number. Deal?"
