Change (Sammy Wilk Fanfiction)

Part 19

*AN: HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope 2015 will be better than the last year and everyone can make their dreams come true.

We were in the pool for probably two hours and I didn't even think about Sammy or Rose for a second. It was really fun. After we walked back into the house Mona ordered pizza and it arrived quickly after at 6 pm. While eating our pizza we watched Grown Ups 2. The other girls wanted to watch a scary movie but I honestly wasn't in the mood for that.

Once we finished the movie I decided it was time for me to go home and get some rest. The girls hugged me good bye and I drove home. As I pulled up in the driveway I already saw my moms car standing there. I wanted to avoid my mom so I tried to run upstairs into my room but she stopped me.

"We need to talk." She said.

"There's nothing to talk about."

"Come into the living room with me."

I did what she told me to and walked inside the living room. I saw someone standing up and turning around to me but I couldn't believe my eyes. It was Sammy. What is he doing in my house? With my mum?

Sammy's POV (in the morning)

I woke up at 10 am after getting like two hours of sleep. I couldn't stop thinking of Kaitlynn and everything that has happened within the past few days. To be honest I'm not someone who opens up to a girl or really likes one. My ex broke my heart two years ago by cheating on me and I didn't want to fall in love again because I was scared of getting hurt.

But then I met Kate. I don't know what made me trust her. Maybe it was her smile or the way she talks and looks at me. I just know that I trust her and I'm falling for her. I hope she realizes that Rose just tried ruining our relationship or whatever we had. She can't already give up on us.

I decided to check twitter and regretted it right after opening the app. Kate, Rose & I were everywhere. Everyone was talking about us and the girls gained lots of followers. I looked through Rose's twitter and saw that she kept spreading rumours so I tweeted that everyone should just leave Kate alone. I hope she sees that tweet.

I got ready for the day and ate breakfast aka bacon and eggs. When I was done with everything it was already 1 pm So what should I do today? To be honest I want to talk to Kate. Should I go over to her house? I need to sort things out. I don't want to go to her house with empty hands though. Maybe I should give her something? Since I had no clue what I could buy her I called my sister Emily for advice. She is a girl so I guess she knows what girls want. 

Once I had everything figured out I drove to the closest mall which was just 5 minutes away. I found exactly what I was looking for and immediately bought it. I think Kate likes guys who treat her like a princess and act like a gentleman so I also bought her beautiful blue flowers. They reminded me of the dress she wore when we first met. 

By the time I had everything I wanted it was already 3 pm. Damn that took me long. I drove over to Kate's house but couldn't see her car outside. There was another car though which I didn't recognize. I knocked on the door anyways. Like I already expected Kate didn't answer the door. A woman opened the door instead and she was older than Kate but they do look alike.

"Hello. Um.. I'm looking for Kaitlynn. Is she here?" I asked the woman.

"No, unfortunately she isn't. Should I tell her something? What's your name?"

"I'm Sam. I'm a friend of hers."

"Well hello Sam I'm her mom. Are you two dating if I may ask?"

"Eh.. no we aren't."

"Then why did you bring flowers?"

"It's a long story.. Do you think Kaitlynn will be back soon?"

"I don't know. I haven't talked to her since yesterday and she's mad at me so maybe she's staying at Rose's house."

"I don't think she's staying there. Would you mind if I stayed here to wait for her?"

"Why wouldn't she stay there? But sure, you can wait inside if you want to."

"Thank you Mrs Miller" (*AN: I don't know if I mentioned Kate's last name before so please tell me if I did! In case I didn't Miller is now her last name)

"You can call me Laura."

I walked inside and sat down in the living room. Laura sat down next to me and kept asking me why I'm so sure that Kaitlynn isn't with Rose right now. I eventually told her everything and saying that she was shocked would be an understatement. 

"That can't  be true! They were like sisters! I always thought Rose was a nice girl.. I guess I was wrong. I should have a talk with her parents!" She furiously shouted.

"No please don't! Kaitlynn can't know that I told you!"

"Fine.. Did you also just hear that car pull up in our driveway? Maybe that's Kaitlynn!"

She was right. A few seconds after she said that the door burst open and someone stormed upstairs but Laura stood up and stopped her. They talked about something but I didn't understand them. Eventually they both stepped into the room and as I turned around I saw Kate with a curious look on her face.
