Chapter Thirty Nine

Harper's POV

I was already catching my breath when the pain slowly disappeared. The pain didn't last long but it was already torturous that it felt like I was going to...die. I calmed myself before standing up after I heard voices from my friends coming from the living room. They seemed to be panicking.

"What do you mean she disappeared?" Aizha asked as I approached them, her voice was getting furious. I glanced at Harmony and saw her standing with Timothy. I noticed that she wasn't crying out of pain anymore. And her feet looks okey.

"Anong nangyari?" All of them turned their gaze at me.

"K-kates gone." Jerra's voice were trembling.

"What? How did she disappeared—" I paused for a moment and realized something before staring both Timothy and Harmony.

Kate healed Harmony. She used her magic and now she just disappeared. She was taken away. Taken by the demons who's hungry for magics.

Lahat kami'y napalingon nang biglang bumukas ang pintuan. Akala namin si Kate ang pumasok ngunit mas lalong nadagdagan ang pangamba namin nang makita ang kanyang Ama. Puno ng pagtataka ang mukha ng duke matapos kaming madatnan sa sala.

"Where's my daughter?" He asked as she scanned his eyes around but Kate cannot be seen around the place.

"She...she used her magic," pag amin ni Heartylou na siyang ikinagitla ng duke.

"I said, Where Is My Daughter?!" His voice thundered. We were all left speechless. We don't know what to say para kaming naputulan ng dila. Hindi makapagsalita.

"My lord, there was another sighting that a healer has been taken away," one of the Knights approach us.

"Where was it last seen?" The duke remained his eyes at us.

"It was last seen....in here."

"Prepare the knights. We're attacking the forest. Keep them locked here," napakunot ang nou ko matapos marinig ang matigas na utos ng duke.

"Your grace, you can't just locked us here. We need to help, we need to find kate!" Pinigilan ko ang Duke sa pag alis.

"How could I let you find my daughter when you were the reason why she was being taken away. I assumed that she used her magic for one of you," hindi ko mapigilang sulyapan si Harmony.

"Let's go." The duke turned it's back to us along with the knight but before it took a step outside agad itong bumagsak kasama na ang knight at ang iba pang kasamahan nila na nag hihintay sa labas. The Duke and the Knights eyes were shut close while laying at the ground.

"Don't worry. I cast a sleeping spell at them it will only take 10 minutes so we better hurry up," napalingon ako kay Jerra nang mapagtanto kagagawan niya ang nangyari sa duke at sa knight.

"Aizha locate Kate's whereabouts," sambit ni Oliver. Agad na tumango si Aizha.

The floor began to briskly move when green vines started to rose under the ground and bloomed a pink flower. Aizha motioned her hand at the top of the flower.  The pollens from the flower started to descend following  the movement of Aizhas hands. The pollens suddenly formed a hologram that shows the whole map of the forest. The other colors of the pollens changed into red while the other ones are color  switched into color  green.

"The red ones symbolizes the Demons in the forest while the green ones are healers. The color green symbolizes healing," Aizha briefly interpret. I stared at the hologram.

"There are a lots of Demons around the forest and what's worse is that they are hidden anywhere," I said.

"Other than that, those healers that were being taken away are still alive," komento ni Iverson.
