Chapter Fourty Three

Sorrow

Harper's POV

I've been through pain before, countless time. Those pains were much more painful that I can't even see it. It is mentally and physically killing me. It's when we feel how our hearts bleed as our tears endlessly pours down like a very bad storm.

Losing someone you shared memories with was excruciating. I never knew that I'd be able to suffer again the way I suffer before.

I couldn't dare to blink my eyes. Leilianne landed between my arms. Agad akong bumagsak habang hawak siya. My hands trembled when I felt a cold liquid running to my fingers. I raised my hands and saw crimson thick liquid rushing down my palms.

My eyes caught Easters. Her gaze widens in shock before I laid my eyes down at Leilianne who was staring at me.

"N-no..." I whispered.

Hindi ko alam kung anong gagawin ko. Nanginginig ako sa takot at gulat. Hindi ko inaasahan ang nangyari. Mas lalong nanglamig ang boung sistema ko matapos makita ang kanyang tiyan na dumudugo. The sharp tip of the arrow got right through her body.

Blood wouldn't stop dripping. Sinubukan kong pigilan ito ngunit kahit anong gawin ko hindi ito tumitigil sa pag dalos.

"Leilianne please...stay with us," her eyes were wide open staring at me habang bahagyang nakabukas ang kanyang bibig habang dumadaloy ang dugo sakanyang labi.

I lifted my head to look at them and saw them rushing over to us. Gulat na gulat ang kanilang mga mukha. Nakuha ang tingin ko ni Easter. She pulled another arrow again and pointed it directly to me and was about to let go of the string nang biglang itinaas niya ang kanyang braso at binitawan ang pagkakahawak sa palaso.

The arrow was thrown away somewhere. Wonter raised his arms in the air pointing to Easter. Puno ng galit ang kanyang mga mata. Sinubukang kumilos ni Easter ngunit hindi niya magawa para bang may pumipigil na pwersa sakanya.

A tornado appeared in front of her and made it's way towards Wonter. He moved his hands in the air and juts a snap the tornado bounced back towards Easter. She tried to stop the wind but she didn't have the way to moved hanggang sa tuluyan na siyang tinangay ng ipo-ipo.

But it was just for a brief moment when the tornado vanished and Easteria was caught standing still in her feet. The wind started curled around  her feet. She started to float and fly over the huge hole in the middle of the caves roof. She looked down at us as she slowly descends. She smiled at me.

She got away.

Bumaba uli ang tingin ko kay Leila. Her eyes were almost shut close pero kitang kita ko pano niya ito nilalabanan. Her eyes were already tired and weak.

"Please...please don't close your eyes...please," I cried.

"I'm sorry Harper. I didn't wan't to betray you. I wanted to help you," I held her hand. She couldn't barely talk.

"I know...I know. I'm sorry. Labanan mo to Leilianne. I can't lose you, we can't lose you," I begged her.

"P-pagod na ako h-harper..."

"Don't say that. You can rest...kasama kami just don't leave us. Don't give up, please?" My eyes were already blurry. Everything was filled with tears.

"I'm sorry for what I did. I shouldn't have did that to you. Sana naniwala nalang ako sayo. I'll listen just...just please don't leave us."

"Kasalanan ko to lahat..."

"Audelia"

I heard Alex' voice in front of me and was followed by the others. Kinuha niya si Leilianne mula sa bisig ko. I placed my hand on my chest. Sobrang sakit ng dib dib ko. Para itong dinodurog. I couldn't breath. Ano bang magagawa ko? May magagawa ba ako sa pag iyak?
