"N-Themisis, ready and reporting for duty sir," Aimi said as she stood in her all-black hero suit which consisted of a skin-tight long sleeve shirt and cargo pants with a mask on her face and hair in a neat tight bun. She was in an underground hero facility that served as a home base for top-secret missions like this one.

She had pro hero Hawks by her side as the police chief, Tsuragamae Kenji briefed the pair, "It's the inner circle of 20 thugs in total that we need to eliminate. In the files you had received was all the information we had on them so I hope you both read up, I can't have another mishap like the one three months ago, woof." The dog-headed man looked pointedly at Hawks before continuing, "It's an in and out mission, no survivors. It needs to be a quiet job without guns so we can pin it on their rival gang and bring them in too. These bastards need to be stopped and we have no way to bring them in by traditional means so it's you kids from the military program that are stuck with the dirty work, woof. Good luck, you guys have one hour, no backup. we'll be sending you in as soon as the coast is clear."

With that the dignified man left the room with Hawks pouting, "I can't believe he's still stuck on that one time I forgot to skim over the files"

Aimi chuckled darkly at that, "Yeah, I mean it's not like he had to get several clean-up crews and activate government-placed fake conspirators to change public opinion to think that some imaginary villain had shapeshifted into some dinosaur look-alike about the same size as you who killed all those people in that office building just because you didn't know that one of the villans had a noxious fume quirk that was a level 3 biohazard."

Hawks rolled his eyes, "Ya know kid, you probably should lighten up or you'll get wrinkles before me"

Aimi sighed at the big brother figure she had become accustomed to over the years of training and struggling together, "I know, I just had a bad day at school"

"Oh yeah, you just got started at UA...well birdie, if you ever have any teenage troubles you know who to call!" Hawks points to himself proudly as Aimi struggled to contain her laughter

"Yeah, My Dad would probably give great advice seeing how he puts up with the hooligans every day...it's his job"

Hawks grumbles, "I meant me!"

Aimi finds herself amused, "But you're an overgrown bird who survives on chicken nuggets from the local fast food place because you have no cooking skills, I mean what pro hero burns water?"

Hawks continues to pout and playfully bicker with Aimi, lecturing her on his brotherly charm and perfect sense of humor.

That is, until a sharp chirp in their ear alerted them, signaling that it was go time. The warm atmosphere suddenly turned chilly and the warm smiles on the pair turned into stoney expressions of intense concentration.

Aimi rolls her shoulders back, "Winner winner chicken dinner bird brain. I want the good grub if I get more targets this time."

Hawks smirks. "You got it kid, but just because you won't be winning."

The pair nod at the crew of technical black ops men signaling them to head in. With silent footsteps, they entered the compound through the back door stealthily, not making a sound.

Aimi snapped the neck of the nearby guard with a swiftness most assassins would envy. "One" she whispered to herself and Hawks rolled his eyes. They both trudged on, leaving bodies in their wake, their path leading towards the inner sanctum of the facility.

By the time the heroes reached the large intimidating room filled with their high-risk targets, the souls of 12 unfortunate guards who happened to be in the building today weighed down on their shoulders. 7 on Aimi and 5 on Hawks. Their clothes were clean and not a hair was out of place on theirs heads, yet they had taken the heads of 12 others within the 15 minutes it took to navigate through the maze of winding corridors with seemingly infinite rooms.
