Kaminari flinched at Bakugo's voice, "That was pro hero N-Themisis...something went wrong with her so they're rushing her to the hospital"

With wild eyes all 4 of the boys started to follow after the departed stretcher but were stopped by Aizawa, "it's time for the second round to start. Where are all 5 of you going?" He pulled the boys back to the stadium so they could get ready for their own fights. Unable to defy their class teacher, they followed him to the arena in solemn silence.

Their steps echoed in the empty corridor and the smell of blood wafted up their noses, making Kaminari sick to his stomach. guilt churned in his gut and a feeling of familiarity with the young hero made his heart ache even more. He clenched his fists, unable to stand the quiet Kaminari finally spoke up thinking of the last thing he saw, "I wonder what that red light was from their soul marks..."

Aizawa stopped in his tracks, "What red lights? Whose soul marks?" His face visibly started to pale and he stopped abruptly, facing the shaken-up students.

Just as Kirishima was about to explain, Present Mic's voice came through the speakers asking everyone to return to their respective places. Aizawa's shoulders relaxed at his soulmate's voice. He was okay. And so would Aimi...right?

He looks at the boys with pity as he remembers the villains that were taken away, it's possible that they saw their soulmates in the stadium...that's all it was...right? "I would like to know more but you should know that it means that their soulmate is hanging onto life with a thread...and if they pass, your mark will vanish as well."

The five males inhale a sharp breath and watch as their teacher is called back to the announcing room and he leaves with a  worried nod, "This conversation isn't over!"

For a few moments, everyone stood still and no one breathed. Someone ran by them and the tranquility was broken.

Midoriya nearly falls to his knees, " Pro hero N-thesis is our soulmate."

Todoroki looks in the direction they came from and takes a deep breath, "And she's fighting for her life."

Kirishima turns away from everyone and punches the wall without activating his quirk. "Why couldn't we have gotten to her faster?!"

Bakugo surprisingly was the calmest out of everyone....at least on the surface. His voice is slightly shakey when he speaks, "Hey short circuit, they said she'd be just fine, right?"

Kaminari gulps, nodding as the gruesome scene from before flashes before his eyes in his mind, "She'll be okay... she's truly a fighter."

And fight she did. As her soulmates gave their best in their own matches Aimi did her best to stabilize herself.  Even though she was in immense pain and her entire body looked like an entire bruise, she managed to reign her demonic urges in by chanting her soulmates names like a mantra.  She spent the day in an isolated room enforced with industrial steel walls behind a foot of cement. While it was clear the cell wouldn't stop her, it would atleast slow her down if she went on a rampage. Alone she sobbed in both emotional and physical turmoil. She was a hero and the first thing they taught you was how the public came first...which was why, even at this moment... Neither of her adoptive parents could come and stay with her. Instead, she was doomed to lay on the cold sterile bed, chained to the frame while she faced the biggest demon in her world. Her mind.

She knew that her soulmates weren't dumb. Even she could recall the red light that came from her soul marks. It had bounced across her mind and heart as she had desperately kept calling for them in her soul.  They knew that pro hero N Themisis was the final part of their Penta. Now she couldn't even be near them in that form or they would approach her about it. And she had to be extra cautious to not let them touch her or her secret identity would be exposed.  Yet she couldn't stay away from any of them, her demon would go into a frenzy if she was taken away from any of them. She needed to stay close... The only reason she was able to get ahold of herself was that they were in the immediate vicinity.

Reciting an old chant, she sighs and opens up a portal to UA through which she watches the sports festival, falling asleep to the commentary about her classmates wearing cheerleading outfits...praying that the reality she'd wake up to would be better.
