Chapter 2

 The air was humid inside the crowded walls of UA high, the buzz of excitement of the first day of school was almost suffocating. Chiaroscuro Aimi had been here multiple times since she was a child and knew the school as well as the back of her hand, the only thing that was bothering her at the moment was the incessant chatter of students. They were like insects at times, exactly like her father Shota had once told her, buzzing about uselessly and endlessly. People like that would be squashed if not aware and careful. It was a well-known fact that Eraserhead was picky with his students and would mercilessly expel those who had no potential. that did make him seem heartless to some, but to Aimi, it seemed practical. She admired it to some lengths and was secretly glad to be under his wing once again, his success rate of producing the best students was phenomenal.  The crowd at the gate had already made her late, her fathers had gotten their car on school grounds rather quickly but had left her to walk. She was late already so she decided to kill a bit of time and roamed the halls a bit. It was all fine until she crossed an open door, "Ah! Chiaro-san! Please come in!" A mouse-like creature called for her. 

"Principal Nezu... Good Morning. It's nice to see you again, and just because I'm a student here now doesn't mean you can't call me Aimi as always.." Aimi greeted and stood in front of the big wooden desk that was too big for the man behind it.

Principal Nezu held the girl's file in his hand. In fact, he was about to go looking for her. "Well, then Aimi-Chan, I was looking over your file here and I just needed to talk to you before you get to class. I have your file here and I need you to verify everything is correct in here and sign off on it. Take your time, this is just a teacher's information file provided by the government for your transfer, your history, and confidential files are secured and with me."

Aimi takes the file and begins to read already dreading what the manila folder contained.
