"CAROLINE, wake up!" a random voice shouted, making the leery girl shoot up from her bed.
as the girl shot up, her forehead collided with another, making the girl and the person groan in pain.
caroline squinted her eyes, putting her hand up to her forehead.
the blonde haired girl looked up, seeing griffin witter standing there, his hand placed the same area her hand was placed onto his forehead.
griffin looked down at the girl on the bed, sending her a apologetic smile. "sorry, but we gotta head to school. i brought you breakfast, we have to leave in 15 minutes." griffin told.
after the dinner the other night, caroline had avoided dawson the best she could. pacey tried to comfort the girl, but she just pushed him away.
caroline let out a sigh, slowly nodding at the boy and rolling out of the bed.
griffin gave her a kiss on the cheek, walking out of the door and closing it.

the girl stared at herself in the mirror, slowly combing her hair. Putting the hairbrush down, caroline heard a shout from griffin.
"care, come on." the boy shouted.
caroline let out a sigh, putting on simple rings, the bracelet her grandmother gave her with two silver necklaces.
caroline grabbed her dark brown book bag, rushing out of her bedroom door and down the steps.
griffin was standing at the bottom of the steps, playing with his keys. the older boy looked up, staring at his girlfriend in awe, breaking into a smirk.
caroline had a faint smile on, reaching the final steps. griffin wrapped his arms around her waist, looking down at her. "you look pretty." the boy whispered, giving her a small kiss on the nose.
the girl scrunched her face, listening has footsteps came from the steps. the two looked up, seeing dawson staring down at the two.
caroline rolled her eyes, grabbing griffin's hand and rushing out of the door. "bye mom, bye dad!"
the two reached the car, griffin quickly turning it on.
the two sat in silence, driving through the town of capeside. caroline was silently eating the food he got her, looking at the early morning glow.
