"HEY, caroline!" a voice caught the leery girls attention, causing her to whip her self around, facing the woman who called her name. her eyes immediately caught the sight of a bright smiling, andie mcphee, strutting towards caroline. "hi, andie." caroline returned the smile, slightly waving for the girl to join her side, which she obliged. "hi, caroline. i was hoping i'd see you today. i mean, i see you every day, but you know, this is different." andie shrugged.

caroline gave her a confused look, "it's 7 a.m. cheer down." caroline joked, slightly giggling to herself as they continued the path to the entrance of the school. "ok, um, well, let me explain. see, last night, i had a hard time sleeping, which is really strange for me 'cause usually i'm out like a light. but, anyway, i was laying there, and all of a sudden, i had this epiphany, and this is going to sound strange, but it involved you." andie pointed at the girl.

caroline's eyebrows had furrowed, staring at the girl with wide eyes. "it's kind of early in the day for epiphanies, andie, but, well, thanks for sharing." caroline laughed off, turning her focus back to the pavement. "let me explain. this is important. student council elections are around the corner. and, i was thinking i could make lots of positive changes as sophomore class president." andie smiled at the blonde.

caroline gave her a confused look, "and..." she dragged out, waiting for an answer from andie. "and a really great presidential candidate needs a really great running mate. and that's where you come in." andie smiled at the female. caroline quickly shook her head, walking off quickly. "no way. forget about it, andie. i don't do student government." andie quickly followed her up the steps, and into the school.

"no, no, no, caroline, look. you are literally, the most popular girl in this school. your g.p.a. isn't even bad. people will vote for you, just because you are you! i mean, come on, caroline, you're the talk of the school everyday, every night. do you understand how good this could be on your college applications too?" andie smiled up at the female, trying to convince her the best she could. caroline stared at her in shock, crossing her arms.

"andie, i don't know. i'm flattered, but i don't want to screw up any chances you have because of my dumb brain, saying something stupid." caroline's face softened, walking through the halls of capeside high. andie quickly stopped her, grabbing onto her hands as they stood in the middle of the school. "caroline, i promise you, you wouldn't ruin any chance i have. you'd make it better! please, think about it?" andie gave her a comforting nod, tightening the grip on her hands.

caroline let out a huff, chewing onto her bottom lip. "fine. i'll think about it! just, promise me if i do, do this, you do all the talking with the politics side of things." caroline shifted her weight, smiling at the girl. andie let out a squeal, wrapping her arms around caroline. "perfect! just, get back to me as soon as you can." andie laughed, letting go of the girl. "of course." the blonde nodded her head.

the two teenagers were soon joined with pacey witter, wrapping his arms around the mcphee girl. "hey, you." andie smirked up at the boy, a bright red blush coming onto her face immediately. "what's shaking, mcphee, and my favourite leery." pacey winked at caroline, causing her to playfully roll her eyes. pacey quickly joined the leery girls side, slinging an arm around her shoulder. "i'm not an armrest, witter." she growled up at the taller boy, shrugging off his arm.
