"Come on, open it!" Cami gushed next to me as Elijah nodded eagerly next to her.

"What if it doesn't say what I'm hoping for?" I sighed as Eli rolled his eyes and shrugged.

"Whether you got accepted or not, you need to know. Don't stress Havoc, I'm sure that email is simply good news," He smiled reassuringly, prompting Cami to do the same.

"Guys..." I sighed as I bounced my leg up and down, my laptop's cursor hovering over the email from the University I had applied to in New York.
Cami abruptly clicked on it, making me jump in surprise, my eyes unwillingly reading what was written.

I widened my eyes as Cami and Eli stood still besides me, my mouth opening in shock.
"It's—"

"An acceptance letter!" Cami squealed before jumping up and down.
I smiled widely as I nodded in pure bliss, my heart pounding in my chest.
Elijah placed his hand on my head, bringing it closer to his and shooting me a bright smile.

"Congrats, Ky," He laughed as I smiled back at him.

"Thanks Eli. I'm going to miss you guys," I frowned as Cami paused her celebratory fidgeting and hugged me.

"Promise me you'll call every other day and that we'll visit each other as often as possible," She requested as I nodded, a beautiful smile flashing across her face.
Cami gave me a genuine look, "I'm so happy for you."

"Same here," Elijah chimed in as I felt tears pool in my eyes.

"I love you guys," I smiled before bringing them both in for a group hug.
I sighed in relief, wishing we could stay like this forever.

As soon as the both of them had left my house I video called Tyler, who picked up on the third ring and smiled eagerly at me.
"Miss me, huh?" He teased as I rolled my eyes and bit my lip in excitement.

"I got accepted," I smiled at him as he raised a brow.

"Accepted?" He questioned before widening his eyes as I nodded.
"You're shitting me!" He grinned at me as I shook my head no.

"I got the email today!" I laughed as he fist pumped the air, his green eyes glistening.

"That's amazing, pretty girl, I'm so happy for you!" He said excitedly as he pushed his blond hair out of his face.

"Thanks Ty," I smiled before laying on my bed and adjusting the phone slightly.

"Guess we're officially roommates now," Tyler smirked as I looked at him, perplexed.

"Roommates?" I asked as he nodded.

"I'm not letting you stay in some weird dorm when you can come and stay with me," He said as I felt heat creep up my cheeks.

"I'm not sure, Ty— I don't want to be an inconvenience to you—"

"Shut up, you know you're not," He smiled warmly at me, "Besides, you know how much I like spending time with you."

I felt a slight flutter in my stomach as I nodded pensively and giggled.
"I'll think about, okay?" I said as he nodded.

"When are you getting here?" He asked as I turned my night light on and turned off the bright light in my room.

"Probably in August, I'll let you know," I said as he smiled.

"Okay good," He grinned adorably at me as I laughed.
