"What? Cat got you tongue, Everleigh?" He smirked, his jet black hair swaying over his piercing blue eyes as he chuckled.

Aaron cupped my chin and made sure I looked him in the eyes, an amused expression taking over his features.

"Do you ever give it a rest, Romano?" I rolled my eyes, feigning composure.
I refused to let the bastard get a grip over me.
I had allowed a slip up in the car that night, but I sure as hell wasn't going to again.

"I've apologized I don't know how many fucking times, Havoc... You can't keep denying your feelings for me," He muttered as I caught a glimpse of his tongue piercing.
A small, ashamed part of me wished that I could feel the cold silver brush against my tongue again, making my jaw clench slightly.

"You always apologize, but you never change," I breathed out deeply.
He rolled his eyes before pushing his dark hair back.

"Look, I'm willing to compromise here. For fuck's sake, Havoc... can we forget about these past few months?" He whispered before tilting his head to the side innocently, the movement making my heart flutter.

"Why would you want that when you have Jasmine to keep you company?" I said sarcastically as his face grimaced.

"She's not you," Aaron said sardonically as my finger lifted itself up as if moving on its own and traced his sharp jawline.

"Aaron... we can't keep falling back into this cycle, I'm so tired," I sighed as he inched his head closer to mine, my eyes latching onto his nose piercing and then his genuine gaze.

I watched the boy I had hopelessly fallen in love with smile as if he didn't have a care in the world before kissing me, my knees buckling as his hot lips placed themselves onto mine.

I let out a small moan before wrapping my arms around his neck and drowning into his taste, the one I had desperately missed.
Aaron smiled against my lips as I slipped my hand into his hair and gently tugged onto it, a light groan escaping him.

We kissed each other in desperation, as if we'd never get the chance to taste one another again.
Which would soon be the case.

Aaron ran his cold fingers up my bare legs, electricity coursing through my veins as his cold rings grazed my skin.
He pulled away slowly as we both took labored breaths, our eyes refusing to tear away from each other.

"Stay in California," He pleaded as I shook my head no, tiredly.

"My decision's made."

Aaron scoffed before pulling himself off of me, the feeling of his warmth no longer enveloping me.

"You're being selfish," He said coldly as I widened my eyes and held back a laugh.

"Selfish? I don't owe you anything!" I said as I felt my blood boil, Aaron's annoyed expression starting to grow even more.

"I'm done chasing after you, Havoc," He rolled his eyes as I shot him a sarcastic smile.

"No one's been asking you to chase after me."

"For fuck's sake," He muttered before pushing past me and opening the bathroom door.
I listened to his steps grow fainter before thanking Sam and my dad, a small moment of silence and the sound of a door slamming, signaled that he had left.

I blew out a tired breath before walking out of the bathroom and back into the dining room.
Everyone's concerned eyes were on me as I suppressed a giggle, Melanie's concerned expression being too cute not to laugh at.

"Are you alright?" Dad asked in confusion and concern.

"Yeah, we just had a little misunderstanding," I said tiredly before smiling.
"Thanks for tonight, I'm going to head home," I sighed as dad got up and nodded.
