Elena was now 3 months pregnant she walked into school with her sisters she was wearing sweatpants and an oversized hoodie she was at the point in her pregnancy where the morning sickness was starting to pass. And she was happy about the pregnancy and she didn't care what anyone else had to say. She was at her locker getting her books and things out. She could admit that she was in a much better mood today than she had previously been in.
"Someone looks happy."
She turned to see her boyfriend she had to admit that she was happier than she had been in a while. "I am happy and the morning sickness is starting to pass. And I am feeling a lot better, which is a good thing."
"At least your not yelling at me today?" He had been being very careful to not get on her badside so she didn't try and yell at him.
"Shut up." Elena rolled her eyes and smiled she didn't think that she had been that bad. And she was also happy she had a doctors appointment and they got to see the baby. "And i have to leave at lunch because i have a doctor's appointment are you gonna come."
"Yes." He did not plan on missing any of her appointments as long as he could help it.
Elena knew that soon enough they were going to have to start telling people that she was pregnant. She had liked keeping it as long as they could but they needed to know for safety reasons. "We have to let the office know they know that i am pregnant as do our teachers not all teachers but ours do and eventually these hoodies are going to make it so my bump is showing."
"There is an easier way for the whole school to tell everyone." He didn't think she would do it after all no one liked the school gosips.
Elena had thought about it Caroline had told her that it could be a good idea but she wasn't sure about it. "Telling the school gossip's that i am pregnant Caroline already suggested it. I am thinking about it not today maybe tomorrow." She closed her locker putting her books into the cross bag that her mom had gotten her so that it would be easier for her to carry around.
His eyes widened he didn't think she would actually agree to do it. After all it was no one's business but theirs their family and their friends. "I said that with no intention of you actually telling them."
"It's the best way to get it around school." She walked away heading to the office with him reluctantly following her. She knew that she didn't want it to be a rumor she just wanted everyone to find out at once so that it was easier.
"I thought you were in a good mood" He didn't see how outing her pregnancy was going to do them any good right now.
"I am in a good mood it's the first time in 2 months i didn't wake up puking." They walked into the office seeing Carol at the front desk she was in a good mood. And she didn't care what anyone thought about her pregnancy.
Carol looked up at the two she was one of the few people that knew about Elena's pregnancy. "Good morning, how are you feeling?"
"Good today I have an appointment. My mom told me to give this to you." Elena handed her the note from Meredith. It was so she could be excused for her appointment.
"So are both of you leaving at lunch then?" Carol just wanted to make sure that she knew what to tell the teachers.
"Yes"

Elena was sitting on the patient bed waiting on Meredith to come in. She was super excited but she was also nervous. There was a knock at the door which made everyone in the room look up. The door opened and Meredith walked in"Sorry i hope i didn't scare you."
"Its fine." Elena was just jittery about everything.
"So you rwo finally get to hear the heartbeat and see your baby are you excited."
Elena nodded this was one of those things she always wanted to do.
Kol who was standing next to Elena holding her hand nodded.

The next morning
She woke up early shooting a quick text to the school gossip's she wanted to get this over with and fast and this seemed like the best way to get it done.

Elena was grabbing her bag when her room door opened and Jenny barged in. She couldn't believe her sister had actually did it. "You did it?"
"What?" She didn't get what her sister was talking about.
"You told the gossips." Jenny thought it was obvious now it was everywhere and everyone knew that she and Kol were having a baby.
Elena sighed she had already told them she was going to do this. She didn't get why they hadn't been taking them seriously about this. "I'm not making some huge pregnancy announcement it was the easiest way to get it done"
Jenny wanted to know what had been going through her mind when she had done this. It was going to change everything. "Everything is going to change when you walk into that school."
Elena knew that and she didn't care this was her baby and she was happy. She was happy she was pregnant and she was happy her and Kol were together nothing was going to change that. "I know and I'm ready for it this is my baby and i don't care what anyone says about me or my baby."

The siblings were ready to leave for school when their phones went off. They all took them out gasping not believing Elena had went through with it. "She did it?"
Freya walked in with Rachel she was confused about what they were looking at like that. "Why are you three looking at your phones like that?"
"Elena told the school gossip's about her pregnancy." Rebekah couldn't believe that she had really gone through it.
"That's one way to get it around." Henrick knew that now everyone was going to know about it.
"Yes, it is." Kol was happy he had been warned about her about to reveal it to the gossip's to get it around.
Rebekah turned to her brother not sure if she knew that Elena was going to do it that way. "Did you know that she was going to do it?"
"She said she wanted it to be out fast. That Caroline had suggested it to her, it's easier than have just some big announcements. "

Elena walked into school, everyone was staring at her as she walked down the hall. Hayley knew that this was very interesting. "You ok?"
Elena didn't care they didn't affect her this was her baby and she was happy about it. "I don't care this is my baby and nothing that anyone says to me is going to change how i feel."
They separated and she went to her locker grabbing out her stuff. Kol walked over to her he was happy that she was ok but he had to say that he didn't think she'd go through with it. "Didn't think you would do it."
Elena looked over to him with a smile she was happy to see him."Hi to you too boyfriend."
"Morning how you sleep."
"Crappy i had to steal Jenny and Katherine's pillows" She was going to have to go shopping or something because she didn't like being uncomfortable.
"That reminds me my sister had a present for you."
"What is it?"
"pregnancy pillow."
"Yay."
