It was time for the gender reveal Caroline Freya and Rebekah were the only one that knew what the gender was. Elena was happy it was finally time. Although she had to admit that she was slightly nervous about it.
It was New Years and everyone was antsy for them to make the reveal. They had decided that this would be the perfect day to do it. Rebekah and Caroline had wanted to make sure that the day went perfectly. "So we passed out confetti poppers for you to do at new years but what we didn't tell you was that those also reveal the gender of my brother and Elena's baby." Rebekah had thought that would be the perfect way for them to ring in the new year.
"So at midnight in 3 minutes we will all pop them and find out what is the gender of my god baby." Caroline knew that it was going to be fun for all of them. She knew she herself had been so excited when she learned the gender of her godchild.
Elena had never decided who she wanted to be the godparents yet. She knew that it was a tough decision and she hadn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. "I haven't decided yet."
"Why is it your godbaby?" Jenny asked she knew that there was a chance but she also knew it was so until her sister said it.
Caroline rolled her eyes she thought it was obvious why. Because she was the only one who would never really be related to Elena. Jeremy and Bonnie, Henrick and Lexi Rebekah would be her sister in law. So it was only right that it was her. "Because i am the only one that is not actually related to her and i knew her the longest."
"What about me?" Rebekah asked she was sure that she deserved the chance to be the godmother.
"You are literally his twin don't try it, Rebekah." Caroline warned she did not want to hear it from her. She would eventually be related to Elena too so it was only fair.
"I guess that is fair." Rebekah caved although she did not like it.
"See."
"Hey i didn't even choose yet." Elena reminded sure that they didn't hear her the first time.
"Come on we all know that there is not a better choice than me." Caroline would be the best godmom there was and no one could challenge that and the others god other positions this was hers.
"You may have a point but still." Elena wanted to think on what she wanted for her child first.
"Anyways we have 1 minute until midnight."
Freya went and took her brothers and Elena's hand pulling them to stand in the middle as everyone stood around them. She knew that this was going to be the best gender reveal there was. "Caroline call it."
"It's time to find out the gender of baby Mikaelson in 10."
