Jimin noticed how Yoongi was secretly glancing at him again. And every time he did, the younger felt more than bothered by it. He was afraid that his friends might be near, but he also felt... kind of guilty?
Jimin knew, he probably said something very wrong to him that time almost four months ago and he still wanted to make it right. He never held a grudge against the older for he never did anything to him except that one time... and that was probably well deserved.
So when he saw his hyung standing outside his lecture room one afternoon, his mind filled with guilt and worry. He felt sick to his stomach, not knowing how to react if the older saw him.
Jimin's thoughts went wild again. He never intended to insult his hyung or say something that bothered him so much that he felt the urge to punch Jimin.
The small boy felt hopeless. Defeated.
He really didn't know what to do.
So, all Jimin could do, was take a deep shaky breath and make his way out of the lecture room. With his head hung low, he gripped onto his backpack, not daring to even look Yoongi's way. He walked right past him and tried to speed-walk out of the building to get to the dance studio as fast as possible.
He couldn't afford to turn up late again.
The orange-haired boy sighed in relief once he saw the studio. He reached out to open the door... and was pulled into the alley right next to it.
To say Jimin was shocked to see Yoongi slightly panting while staring intensely into the younger's scared little puppy eyes, would have been the understatement of the century.
The poor boy immediately averted his gaze and started trembling. His empty stomach cramped repeatedly, sending waves of panic into every cell of his small fragile body.
He didn't know what to do or say. He quickly looked down, noticing hot tears already gathering at the rim of his eyes.
When Yoongi finally let go of his wrist, the only thing the younger could think of was apologizing. He had to apologize now.
Now.
"Jimi-"
Jimin fell down to his knees, bowing as deep as he could.
"Hyung, I'm sorry! I'm sincerely sorry to have embarrassed you in front of your friends. It was never my intention to do so. I just really wanted to tell you that it's an admirable quality to be so modest about something as big as being a caring hyung... I really didn't mean to insult you. I'm so so sorry, hyung, I'm sorry!"
And with that, Jimin started full-on sobbing. He hastily wiped away his spilling tears and ran as fast as he could. He shut the studio door with a wham - and that's when he finally broke down. Sobbing as hard as ever, he finally let all of his emotions flow.
Not only did the receptionist's heart sting at the sight, but it also caused tears to run down a certain hyung's face who was still standing frozen just around the corner. Facing the spot where Jimin previously kneeled.
