Here we go again.
"Look, he's actually wearing a tie!"
"What a loser!"
"Yoongi-hyung! Hyung!!! That faggot is wearing a tie!"The boys in front of Jimin eyed him up and down - disgust written all over their faces.
Why? Well... Jimin was openly gay. Simple as that.
He used to be afraid of telling anyone. Hell - he was crying so damn hard while telling his parents, that they didn't even have a chance to process this information.
It all turned out fine, obviously.
His parents were actually very supportive.
He learned how to love himself just the way he was.
He loved his hair, his chubby cheeks, his eyes.
Even his tiny hands suited him perfectly. So why should he ever have to hide whom he actually liked? In his opinion, confessing one's love to someone didn't depend on gender. It depended on... well... love, right? Not that anybody would ever love him back, because he was obviously the best-friend-kinda-soulmate, but still. Jimin had always been confident and honest about his feelings.
To cut to the chase: Jimin confessed his attraction to a music major named Min Yoongi. He was a close friend of those bullies.
Jimin had been watching Yoongi from afar for some time now and he was fascinated by his cold, yet attentive nature. Yoongi pretended a lot. He pretended not to give a damn. He pretended to be savage. But Jimin could see how much he secretly cared for his friends. He showed it through tiny actions, like repairing their bags when they weren't watching, or bringing them food out of nowhere. It was really cute to watch his little pout when he thought that nobody was watching.
Jimin really admired this side of his hyung. He was the caring guy, hidden in the background.
After about 4 months of just watching the older's actions secretly, Jimin noticed Yoongi staring back at him from time to time. He never did anything, his mint-haired hyung just stared blankly at the orange-haired boy.
Jimin's stomach churned every time their eyes met. He had to turn his head to hide his blush, not wanting to expose himself. But he saw how Yoongi always looked his way. And sometimes, Jimin swore he saw a slight smirk grazing the older's lips.
It gave Jimin hope. He was hoping for something he had been avoiding for the past couple of years. The younger didn't like the memory of rejection. It pained him too much to actually think about it so he just pushed it aside as always.
After another 3 weeks of playing hide and seek, Jimin finally had the courage to walk up to him. He didn't want to confess. He just... wanted to talk for a minute.
And that was a big. big. mistake.
