It's been four months since Yoongi and Jimin had had that conversation.

The following weeks, Taehyung had a pretty rough time accepting Jimin's soulmate as... well... his soulmate. But Jungkook was repeatingly expressing his happiness for his hyungs, and eventually Tae came around as well.

He didn't know when his dongsaeng finally stopped holding a grudge against his boyfriend, but when he did, things became more natural and Jimin's life finally fell into place. Not that thaaat much had changed, of course.

He still woke up early in the morning.
He still walked the stairs together with Namjoon-hyung.
He still worked at the dance studio with Hoseok-hyung.
He still ate lunch with Tae and Kook.
He still went to his dance practices and lectures, even though he was being stared at a lot.

Why?

Well... because he didn't do all those things alone anymore.

Yoongi practically became his shadow - no, not shadow... more like his partner in crime.

They'd keep Namjoon waiting at his dorm room, just so they could cuddle for another 5-10 minutes.
They'd walk down the stairs together, making Namjoon invite his soulmate Seokjin-hyung as well after only a week, because he didn't want to be thirdwheeling every day.
They'd take turns on accompanying eachother to work every day, because Yoongi-hyung finally had the guts to confront his parents, and cut all of his relations to the people who refused to accept Jimin - who refused to accept his happiness. So he had to search for a job, which wasn't actually that hard. He had the unexpected help of Namjoon, who invited him to work for his dad who was - who would've thought - a music producer. Yoongi learned one hell of a lot from the older man, and was beyond thankful to be able to continue studying.
He also became very good friends with Hoseok, not being able to deny this beaming bouncing ball of sunshine.
They'd eat together, annoying the shit out of Taehyung and Jungkook with their clingy and way too sweet behaviour.
And last but not least, Jimin was being stared at a lot because he was not afraid to show his affection and feelings anymore.

Jimin was slowly healing.

He regained some weight up to an healthy amount, making Taehyung squish his cheeks repeatedly after the brunette noticed that they were getting chubbier again.
He regained his honest, mind-blowing eye-smile, which everyone - literally everyone - was happy about.
He regained his courage to stand up for others once again, and for himself.

Yes, he wasn't afraid of those bullies anymore.

Sure, he still didn't like them, let alone forgive them, but he learned to hold his head high and made it his habit to pass them with a knowing smirk. The first couple of times he did so, they tried to approach him angrily, but all he had to do was raise a confident brow and most of them would pull the others away in fear of getting their asses beaten.

To the younger's surprise, Kai-hyung, who never paticipated in the bullying but rather walked away obviously feeling uncomfortable, apologized to him the day after Yoongi and him were officially dating. He still hung out with Yoongi a lot, which made Jimin feel really thankful.

At least that meant  that Yoongi hadn't lost everything because of him.

Yes, his soulmate would never phrase it as some sort of loss, but Jimin knew better. Of course Yoongi had lost almost everything or everyone he knew, just because fate decided to make them become soulmates - romantic soulmates.

Jimin grinned at the thought. Oh dear mother nature, Jimin was so so thankful for the boy. The way he adored him, touched him, loved him, wrecked him, even.
