Why is it so hard to let go? (Deku)

OKOK so another idea from musicbird and its DEKUUUU and his dad. so ya, tata ALSO deku's dad is a veteran in this AU

    "Daddy!! I'll miss you!!" Izuku called, watching his dad walk away to the rest of the army. 

"Bye Izuku! Bye Inko!" He called back, watching his son and wife wave him goodbye. 

    Years passed since that day. Midoriya's father came and went. When Izuku was eight years old, he realized something. Something that would change his life if it could. 

    "Mommy?" He asked his mother.

"Yea, dear" His mother replied. 

    "What if daddy doesn't come back home?" He asked her.

    Inko sucked in a large breath and let it back out again. "We can't think of those things right now, dear. Instead, why don't we think about when he comes home again, yeah?" She finally answered. 

    "*giggle* Okay!"

    2 more years passed and Hisashi came back. Izuku was so happy, happier than he had been since when he last came back. 

    

    "HI DAD!!!" Izuku called. 

Hisashi smiled and opened his arms for Deku to jump into and give him a hug. Inko was crying and ran outside with them. "I missed you guys.."

   "We missed you too!" Inko and Ixuku said in sync. They let out a relived laugh.

    

    Hisashi left again two months later, but came back when Izuku turned 16.

    Hisashi walked into the house. "Hello? Inko? Izuku? I'm home!" no response. He was worried. A few minutes later Inko came home with groceries. She stepped through the door and saw him. She dropped everything she had in her hands and ran into his open arms crying. 

    After they shared their hugs Hisashi asked "Wheres Izuku?"

    Inko smiled. "He's in UA dorms right now." Hisashi's face lit up. "He made it into UA!?!" Inko just nodded and smiled. 

    During the weekend Deku came home. "Mom! I'm home!" He walked further into the house. 

"dad..?" His eyes widened. He jumped onto his dad and cried. He cried everything out while hugging his father. 

    When he let go, his eyes were red and puffy and his cheeks were tear stained. "I missed you so much!!" he sobbed. 

   A few months later, Hisashi left again. Izuku was furious. Why couldn't his dad just stay? Stay at least a bit longer then 2 months. 

    

     "Mom? Why is it so hard to say goodbye?" Izuku questioned once they were leaving from waving the soldiers off. 

"Because everyone doubts that they will ever get to say another 'Hello'" Inko answered. 

    Years passed again. Inko got a call. A call from the amry. Hisashi was dead. 

Izuku was crying in his room after he heard the news. "Why is it so hard to let go!?"

    Ururaka walked in and attempted to calm him down. 

Honestly I don't like the straight ships that much, like, idk y i just dont like them that much. I don't know why i keep making IzuOcha though lol I like tododeku. Anywhore, how did yall like it? I know there are a lot of major timeskips and stuff but like.. still. Was it good? I don't think I should do another army AU thing bc i kinda suck ass at em BUT im still gunna write. leave requests!!
