They said that you were cold hearted
But I couldn't help falling for you.
I don't know when it started,
But I know I fell hard for you.
I found you writing poems.
That made me love you more.
I don't know why it happened.
But I started caring for you a bit more.
I tried melting your heart.
Gave my all to you.
Did all stupid things an ameture lover does.
Wrote a poem dedicated to you.
Wanted you to be my rain.
Wanted you in every way.
Wanted you to reciprocate my feelings.
Was it too much to ask for?
I wanted to melt your heart,
But you broke mine instead.
I should have realised from the start.
That it was all in my head.
Then I realised,
It wasn't love that I felt for you.
It was mere infatuation.
Which made me lose myself because of you.
