You and me in our balcony.
I look over at your blinking eyes.
You look free;
free from any disguise.

I know,
you aren't here with me.
I know,
that's all your past reflections I see.

Why do you glow?
Why do you seem bizarre?
My mind is sinking low.
You are so close yet so far.

With my quill tonight,
I will paint a canvas in blue,
a tinge of starlight,
and the sky's dark hue.

I will write about crimes using rhymes.
A scope of hope,
and a bucket of lies.
Something one can and something one can't cope.

I will write about your mystical mystery.
A stroke of physics in mythology.
About the current history.
And a little something of psychology.

Star. Do you know?
You keep me up all night.
Star. Do you know?
I fell in love with you tonight.

Physics taught me a mind blowing fact.

"Because of the finite speed of light, when you gaze up into the night sky, you are looking into the past.
The bright star Sirius is 8.6 light years away. That means the light hitting your eye tonight has been traveling for 8.6 years. Put another way: When you look at Sirius tonight, you see it as it was 8.6 years ago."

I am strangely attracted to stars.

I don't mind moon. It's ok ok..

But stars.. They are so pretty, so mysterious as if hiding thousands of secrets.
