Sailing ship;
Loud, louder, louder.

"You look like her", he said,
the first time we met.
It was summer may;
the day I will never forget.

Bright day;
Bright, brighter, brighter.

"I love you",
That's what you said another time we met.
I said I do too;
the words I will never forget.

Clashing waves;
Pretty, prettier, prettier.

"My love for you has nothing to with her " you assured
"Being with me is something you won't regret" you reassured
I hope so too, I had replied then;
the doubt which I dared to forget.

Cracked ship;
poor, poorer, poorer.

"I am sorry for accidentally hitting you, I was drunk."
You begged me for forgiveness.
I said "I understand.";
the mistake which I eagerly forget.

Water seeping;
shallow, shallower, shallower.

" I love you ", you whispered,
all those nights we made love.
Not my name but hers ;
the blunder which I tried to forget.

Drowning harshly;
deep, deeper, deeper.

"Of course I still love her",
you said on her every death anniversary;
I stayed by your side embracing you;
the despair I tried to forget.

Deafening silence;
Loud, louder, louder.

I looked at my body full of scars that night.
I couldn't stay trapped in this haunted mansion.
No, I couldn't live anymore.
And so I gave up.

Blinding darkness;
Dark, darker, darker.
