Nirvana - smells like teen spirit

I wake up in Spencer's bed and roll over on my side only to find he was gone. I was hurt but what else did I expect? A good morning from Spencer Reid? But he had looked at me differently last night as if maybe he cared for me.

I got dressed for work and headed out. I shrugged off last night as a weird dream I had had.

After my short walk I arrived at work, the place never seemed to not amaze me with a building towering over almost completely made out of glass. I opened the glass door to step inside.

'Y/n come over here please.' It was my dad waving me over.

'Coming to cut me off again?' I sarcastically ask.

'You know I don't want you cruising through life. I got you this job, now come on let it be water under the bridge.' He says patting your back, plastering a smile on his face.

I wasn't entirely ready to let this go but I didn't want to make a scene in this beautiful building I worked in. 'Okay. What do you want?'

'I have someone I want you to meet.' My father waves over a young man my age, with black slicked-back hair, blue eyes, and tanned skin. He towered over me. I could not deny he was attractive but he looked a bit stuck up.

'I'm Daniel.' He stuck out his hand.

'Hi...' I shook his hand maintaining eye contact.

'Daniel works with the CEO maybe he can get you a few perks.' My father laughs but it was obvious that he was only partly joking.

'I'll see what I can do for such a beautiful girl.' He stares at you and you feel a bit uncomfortable.

'I'll see you around Dave and nice meeting you y/n.' He then walks off in his stupid little suit.

I turn to my father. 'Really dad?'

'Give him a chance now hurry up you don't wanna be late.'

I run up to attend my meeting and scoff at my father's attempts at setting me up.

Soon the day comes to an end and I find another way to my apartment to avoid similar circumstances to last night.

I walked with purpose. I wanted to talk to Spencer.

When I entered the building Spencer was not standing in the hallway as usual. I walked to his door and knocked.

He opened it and I was met with a sunken face. 'What do you want?'

'I don't know guess I just wanted to see you.' His glare reduced me to an awkward mess and I was even unable to look up at him and meet his eyes.

'Well, you saw me.' He opens out his arms as if to prove he accomplished something.

I look into his eyes, they are red, 'You're high, what have you been taking?' I push past him into his room.

'You can't just come into my room like that!' he grabs my shoulder forcing me to face him.

I noticed something on the table behind him, 'Dilaudid and cigarettes, really Spencer?'

'Don't act as if you care for me.' His tone became more hostile yet he was still groggy.

'Well, maybe I do...' I trailed off realizing my mistake. I turned to leave but he grabbed my arm tightly.

'Don't fool yourself into thinking this is something. You were just there when I needed you. Being the little slut you are. Are you really that desperate for affection?' He shouts at me each word cutting deeper.

'Okay.' I whisper.

'What?!' He leans closer, it intimidates me. I search his eyes for any sign of remorse for what he just said but find none.

He truly doesn't care for me at all. 'I SAID OKAY!' I pull out of his grip and run to my room feeling tears stinging my eyes.

Stupid, I'm so stupid. What did you think? God, y/n, you're just so... stupid.
