Clementine was already getting ready in front of her vanity mirror when the morning arrived. It was five in the morning and based on her schedule the family's breakfast is at 7 AM so she needs to ready them as early as possible. She also read the rules that Alcina had given her, one of which was inscribed with a red line that requires her to keep the windows shut at all times.

She tied her long, defined curly hair into a high ponytail with a white ribbon. The maid's dress that she was wearing evolved into a more modern look, with short sleeves and a skirt that is above the knee length.

Clementine took the map and inserted it into the pocket in front of her dress. She exited the room and went straight to the kitchen to cook breakfast for the family. When she reached the kitchen she saw Ingrid stacking food containers into a trolley cart.

"Good morning, Cleme– oh," Ingrid's mouth dropped as she saw her.

"Does it look horrendous?" She asked.

Ingrid shook her head. "No... It's... Stunning, is that supposed to be your uniform?"

"Nope," she shrugged. "Lady Dimitrescu gave me a maid's uniform exactly like yours, but I didn't liked the way it looked, so I did some alterations to make it look like this. She wouldn't be mad, would she? I mean, she never told me not to meddle with how our uniform looked, she just told me to wear it."

Ingrid pressed her lips forming into a thin line. "I don't really know what to say. But then, what if the countess gets mad at you?"

"Then I guess it's my time to die?" She joked.

Ingrid sighed. "You shouldn't be joking about things like that. You wouldn't want to be in the cellar."

"Cellar? That's a restricted place isn't it?"

Ingrid slowly nodded. "That's where i'm stationed. The countess and the daughters brings everyone that angers them over there,"

The two of them looked at the clock in the kitchen as it made a loud sound.

"I guess i'll catch up with you later. The food is needed in the cellar, I must leave you now," Ingrid motioned towards the trolley cart and pushed it outside the kitchen.

Clementine was left alone in the large kitchen. She walked towards the large two door fridge and opened it, as she was expecting the fridge was full of food. She took out eggs, butter and milk from the fridge and then took flour and bread from the pantry.

She thought of cooking the countess and her daughters french toast and strawberry scones with glaze. Since this is her first day as a servant she might as well show them what she's capable of and but of course her knowledge about cooking and baking is a perk from her working in a café.

Making the scones took her a while but now she feels less anxious since already put it in the oven. It was now six fifteen in the morning and she's currently busy preparing a caffe latte.

Clementine stretched her arms as she waits for the milk to boil. The kitchen seems to be already renovated because of the appliances and equipment inside it, she was expecting the kitchen to be old and dirty yet she judged too early. Considering that she was in a castle and the place seems isolated, she expected less.

Time passes by and the scones are ready to be served. She took the food at put it into the trolley cart taking it out of the kitchen. She headed towards the dining room and prepared the food for the countess and her daughters. She checked the clock only to see that it was 6:59, surely the family would burst out the door any minute now.

The door opened and a swarm of flies entered the room, the flies immediately transformed into human beings in the form of Bela, Daniela and Cassandra. Just like she predicted.
