The sound of an alarm clock rang around the room, causing Alcina to open her eyes and switch it off before turning around and waking up Clementine next to her.

As a yawn slipped her lips, Alcina whispered. "Wake up."

Clementine whispered something and drew the thick covers over her. Alcina sat up in bed and shook her again, but this time more forcefully.

"All right, all right, I'm up," she murmured, rubbing her eyes.

Alcina giggled and kissed her quickly as she came closer to her. "Good morning."

"Good morning," she moaned, rubbing her eyes one again.

"Go take a bath; we still have to go to Mother Miranda's."

"I don't feel like going," she groaned. "Are you sure we can't go?"

Alcina sighed and rolled her eyes. "This isn't the time for jokes, Clementine; Donna's being married today, and we all need to be there."

"I was only kidding, I wouldn't miss it for the world," she chuckled as she got out of bed. "Would you like to join me?"

"No, that will take us two hours to finish if I do that; you go first, and I'll wake the girls up."

"All right," she murmured as she approached the restroom door.

The day of Donna's wedding arrived, and they all had to get dressed and drive to Miranda's manor for the preparations, as is customary. Donna and Mallary are planning a quiet garden wedding in Miranda's manor, with the entire family in attendance.

Clementine went to her study after taking a bath to check on the bridal gown again to see if there were any more adjustments that needed to be made; when she arrived, she noticed Bela putting the finishing touches on the gown.

As she walked in, she said, "Good morning, Bela."

"Good morning, mom," Bela said with a smile, her gaze fixed on the outfit.

She stayed there for a minute, waiting for the girl to stand up and admire the outfit that the two of them had created.

She nudged her and remarked. "We did a pretty wonderful job on this one."

"Do you think it'll go down well with Aunt Donna?" Bela inquired, her lips pressed together.

"There's just one way to know. Let's get dressed because we have to go to the manor," she gave a warm smile.

"All right," Bela said as she began to assist her in removing the outfit from the mannequin.

The five of them had arrived at Miranda's manor, and the girls were applying make-up to their faces in front of the vanity, while she and Alcina fixed their hair. The three of them intended to wear black today, but because it was their Aunt's wedding, they chose to wear gray dresses instead. Alcina and her were both dressed in navy blue, with the exception that Alcina was in a dress and she was in a suit.

Clementine was braiding Daniela's hair as Alcina braided Bela's. Cassandra was just sitting in front of the mirror, doing make-up to make herself presentable for today since her hair was already done.

"All done," she let go of Daniela's hair. "You look very beautiful, darling."

"I already knew that mom," she quipped. "But thanks for reminding me."

She turned to Cassandra, rolling her eyes. "Are you okay with your braid bun, dear?"

Cassandra smiled and nodded. "I don't want my hair to get in the way when we begin photographing later."
