Mallary's grumbling and scoffing were all Clementine could hear on their approach to Donna's manor, and she was sure the woman beside her was not taking it well.

"Isn't it possible for me to just pull over to the side and you just come down here? If I'm in front of the manor, Donna will know, just like Lady Dimitrescu she has this ability ti sense people," Mallary sighed and rolled her eyes.

"Just a little further! I'm ensuring you that she won't see you, so get drive the car and quit whining."

"I'm not sure why you want to come here."

"Have you forgotten that she's my sister, Mallary? I'd like to spend some quality time with her."

She mumbled, "Hopefully she treats you well."

In answer, Clementine shook her head and rolled her eyes. She turned to look out the window next to her and saw a waterfall and a cliff with a gazebo and a picnic place.

Mallary muttered, "I made that for her."

"Really? Did she liked it?"

She smiled and nodded. "She did, and that field over there is full of dandelions that I planted; dandelions are her and mine's favorite flowers. She was ecstatic at the time, but it quickly faded when I confessed to her."

"I'm sorry," she said, frowning.

"You don't have to be; I'm moving on and healing, hopefully the four months would move faster."

The automobile continued on its way and came to a stop near another garden.

"I'm sorry, but I'm not able to take you any further. I don't want Donna to be aware of my presence."

She smiled and nodded. "Thanks for the ride, Mallary; if you need to pick me up, i'll text you."

She stepped out of the car and began walking towards the manor's gate, waving goodbye. She observed a woman with blue hair swinging her hips while watering the plants near the home, and she immediately turned around and bowed her head.

"Lady Eve! I apologize for not noticing you earlier," she replied as she dashed towards the gate and yanked it open.

"It's all right; you appear to be having a good time," she joked.

"I'm Lady Donna's gardener, and my name is Lucy. Oh, do come in; I'm sure Lady Donna would be delighted to have a visitor; she's been terribly alone since Mallary left- damnit, sorry, I can be a blabbermouth when I want to be," she rubbed her neck.

"That's okay; thank you for informing me. Mallary is a friend of mine. If you don't mind can you tell me more?"

"Really? Do you have any information about her whereabouts? Lady Donna may not like to acknowledge it, but she misses her, and everyone in the manor knows it. She had been sleeping and eating in Mallary's former room."

She nodded. "I don't know where she is but is it possible for you to accompany me into the manor? This is my first time coming here."

"Sure thing, Lady Eve. I'm delighted you came by; you look exactly like Mother Miranda, with the exception of her hair and eyes, but you're just as lovely," Lucy giggled

She laughed. "Thank you for the compliment."

Lucy led her inside the manor, where they took an elevator to the lower level, where they found the living room. Clementine noticed Angie with a black-haired maid who was repairing the carpet on the floor as soon as they exited the elevator.

"I'll leave you alone now, Lady Eve, I still need to finish my work in the garden," Lucy said.

"Thank you for your help."
