I haven't proof read this yet. I'll probably do it tomorrow, because it's really late here in Sweden right now.

Chapter 12
Magic
Lux ran around in the room, picking up anything her mother told her to. Her blonde hair was kept out of her face because of the little ponytail in the back of her head and she looked absolutely adorable in her light blue (very casual) jeans dress.
"Where's Harry?" she asked and sat down on the bed again. She looked quite disappointed that the curly haired boy with amazing green eyes wasn't present.
"He's upstairs, love," Lou answered and patterned the little girl on the head. "And he'll go to a part soon, so you'll see him tomorrow instead."
"But I want to see Harry now!" Lux complained and crossed her arms over her little chest.
"I know, love. But you can't. And now, you must help me to dress Jess. You see," Lou said and bend down close to her daughter, "I've kidnaped her and we're going to make her look really pretty, okay?" she continued with a big smile. The daughter looked her mother deep in the eyes for a while before giving in.
"Okay," she said with a smile and looked all happy again.
"Good, honey!" Lou said and rose again. If that was their family fights, they were truly lucky. "Let me know if you find anything you like," Lou continued and started looking through the dresses on the bed. There was everything from black full length dresses to purple cocktail dresses. But I didn't find anything in my taste. I just couldn't wear dresses - we just didn't match, me and dresses.
"Would I be getting strange looks if I went in pants instead of a dress?" I asked, my voice full of hope.
"No, I don't thing so... I mean, it's a professional party, but it won't be like the red carpet."
"Good... So I can wear jeans?"
"If the jeans are good looking," Lou smiled at me and held up a black dress in front of me. It was black as a raven and would fit a model as a glove. What I didn't know for sure was if it was going to look that great on me. "What about this? Would I look good in this?"
"Probably," I answered honestly. Anyone would look great in that except for me.
"With a pair of stilettos and a simple silver necklace?" she continued and took a look in the mirror. She spun around and held the dress to her fit figure. "What do you think, Lux?" The little girl looked at her mother for a while, crossing her arms like a grown up woman, before answering.
"Nope, Mommy. Not the black one. It's boring."
I can't tell you how cute she was, trying to act grown up while her mother and I tried to find something to wear to the Elite party. Her cute little ponytail in the back of her head kept bumping up and down as she ran across the room to give her Mom any jewelry and other accessories she asked for. I gave up pretty quickly on trying to find a dress to wear. However, Lou was happy to let me borrow her favorite jeans; a pair of medium blue one with skinny legs and a high waist. To my great pleasure, they fitted me perfectly. But none of Lou's many shirts or blouses was in my taste. I knew I had the perfect blouse in my suitcase upstairs and Lou insisted on that I would go and get it. So, even if I didn't felt like leaving the little blonde girl and her mother, I left the room and headed for the elevator again.
