"Thea im always here you know that right."
"J. it's going to be hard when school starts."
"I know but we can try."
"if my dad-"
"Thea don't worry about your dad..he's not worth it."
"your worth it..right?"
"yes."

He kissed the girl in front of him. She wrapped her arms around him and straddled his lap.

"why cant i just be a pogue."
"you are a pogue." he kissed her head

It had been a little over a week since Thea last spoke to JJ that one morning. He hoped she would have stayed and never went back that morning but that didn't happen. He hasn't stopped thinking about her since, he was able to move on from her and now it's all coming back. Why?

The Pogues hung out and surfed a little before heading back. JJ stayed with John B and so did Kiara. Pope was going home because his dad was apparently mad at him for being gone to long, but before everyone left they hung around smoked and drank a little. Then JJ's phone rang.

"JJ speaking who may this be?" He said in a pirate accent
"Can i come to JB's."

Is this Thea?

"Uh well maybe if you say who you are."
"J. You know who i am. Can i come or not?"
"Of course are-"
"i might stay a few days."

the phone hung up.

"who was it." John B asked

"i think it was Thea..i could be wrong." JJ took a hit from his juul.

"ooo i hope its her."

"She said she might stay for a few days."

"well she's sleeping in your bed." John B said taking a sip of beer

everyone looked at him annoyingly.

"what it's not like she hasn't before..you know." He winked.

Kie and Pope both snorted trying not to laugh.

"Haha very funny, especially cause that didn't happen." JJ rolled his eyes

"yeah..okay." Kie laughed

About 10 minutes later there was a knock on the door and Pope answered it.

"Th- Holy shit." Pope said as he opened the door

JJ stood up quickly making his way towards the girl.

"Thea.." Kie said, her voice laced with concern

When JJ finally got a look at the girl he knew why.
