"Thea!" John B called
She turned around, he was waving her over to him.
"I'll be back." Thea told JJ, who then walked into the house.
Thea ran to John B, "What?" she asked
"I think we need to talk." he said resting on the dock
"Yeah.." She stood next to him.
"He killed my dad. Framed me for murder and tried to get me killed in Jail! yes! i was content with the fact he died!"
"I understand that. Do i think Ward had it coming? Yes. Did he deserve it? Yes. He did. I know he did."
"Then what's wrong? why are you so fucking mad?"
"Sarah didn't deserve it."
"I know that Thea!"
"You dont need to be sad for Ward. No way do you ever beed to pitty Ward, or Rafe. But Sarah.. you You could over turned her away and hugged her and still watc-...I am very protective of her because she is the only person i have had my whole life."
"Why is that my fault?"
"It's not- I was mad. I was mad at a lot. You should be excited, Im excited the fucker is dead. I shouldn't have taken it out on you. I know that you shouldn't have to do anything for Sarah. I'm sorry."
"We good?" He asked
"I think i should be asking you that."
"We're good." He bumped her hip
The next morning Thea quite literally had to drag JJ out from bed and make him go to school. It was kinda a fucking mess. They made it into their first class half asleep.
"Glad you could join us Mr. Routledge." The teacher said handing him the quiz
"It's good to be back." John B forced a smile
"Just in time for your first quiz." The teacher said
John B pointed at Pope, "A test?" He whispered
"Quiz." Thea said, circling B.
"I told you we had a test this morning-" Pope said, also whispering
"No, you didn't." John b argued
"The first thing i said to you-"
The teacher cleared her throat, the boys shut there mouths.
"Just copy mine." Thea whispered very softly
"Yeah dude, she's like kinda smart." JJ nodded
They turned in the quiz and waited for them to be graded, this teacher was pretty chill and let them talk while she graded them quickly so they could have them by the end of class. She passed them out by row. JJ peaked over to Theas grade.
