They were gathered around a fire just hanging out. Tomorrow was the last day of summer and Thea knew this was it and JJ knew it too. He hoped that maybe she would try to stick around but it will be near impossible.

"J." she whispered

"Yeah." he matched her tone

"im gonna miss you."

"you will see me again. we can do this again."

"when school starts my dad is gonna not let me leave the house. I would have to sneak out and even if i did Topper would find out and tell."

"why is he such an ass."

"i dont know. i dont wanna go home."

he wrapped his arms around his friend for the last time.

"So the hurricane comes in when?"

"Tomorrow."

"I need Thea. She needs to give me a tattoo." Kie sighed looking at her bare rib cage.

"Where has she been anyway?" JJ asked

"I haven't seen her anywhere. Not even in Figure 8" Kiara added

"i hope she's okay." Pope said his voice laced with concern

JJ missed his friend. He wanted her to come back so they could lay in his bed and laugh and talk about whatever like they normally did. They would chase each other and not be able to look at each other without laughing.

Later that night they were all getting drunk and playing around and having fun. They all migrated outside to the hammocks when JJ got a call from Thea.

"Heyy! Where have you been."
"J. Can you please come pick me up." She was sobbing
"Thea are you ok."
"No. Please can you come get me. Just you."
"okay. okay."

JJ grabbed the keys and his shoes.

"JJ? Where the hell are you going?!" John B asked

He didn't answer and drove to her house. He parked far away from her house and he got out and walked closer to her house. She jumped out of her window and walked to the blonde.

When she got to him she wrapped her arms around his neck and sobbed. He hugged her tightly.JJ didn't know what to do.

she never cries. she doesn't cry. what the hell happened

"Get in the car.."

she nodded and sat down in the car he joined her and they drove closer to the Chateau. JJ was fuming.

Once they got closer he pulled over and parked on the side of the road.

"Tell me what happened."

"J i dont-"

"No you were crying! Thea you don't cry. Please baby, tell me what happened."

"He cheated again."

"Again?!"

"He cheated after he promised never to do it again. When he brought me home 4 days ago. He stayed with me. We watched movies and he apologized for everything he did. He said he loved me, but he woke up and left and immediately hooked up with another girl. He came over today and told me that he couldn't be with me anymore, and that i was a slut and that he never loved me."

JJ noticed how she was almost numb. There was no expression on her face. Just words being said. Nothing else.

"It's my fault." She admitted

"How the fuck is it your fault."

"I was with him for 9 months. We never had sex or did anything like that. He told me that he has needs and that he deserved to know i loved him for what he did for me."

"Love isn't just sex Thea."

"Every boy i have ever dated..thats the the only thing they wanted from me."

"what did he save you from?"

"J i don't want to talk about that."

"okay..but is Rafe the one who beat you."

All she did was look at the blonde. And he knew.

"im gonna fucking kill him."

"JJ."

"I won't go out of my way to find him, but if i see him and he looks at you one way or he says something stupid im not letting him hurt you anymore."

"okay." She said

That was hot.

"Also how can you be a slut and not sleep with anyone." She said

They both started laughing.

JJ drove back to the Chateau as Thea lit a blunt next to him.

"Im gonna need a lot of substance help tonight."

"we should have some."

"i do too."

As soon as she got in the house everyone noticed her mascara stained cheeks and red eyes. Thea frantically opened bottles of beer and the tequila that she brought. She waltzed into JJ's room and closed the door behind her.

She chugged the beer and continued to smoke the blunt. After both were gone she used her wrist to crush up the last 3 pills. After she was done clogging her nose she started drinking the Tequila. That is when she was utterly numb. Didn't feel anything.

JJ walked into his room to find the girl curled up in his blankets.

"JJ! Hiiiiiiiiii!"

"oh god."

"that was not very nice- what are you doing?"

"grabbing stuff to sleep on the couch."

"why?"

"because Thea, you're in my bed."

"you can sleep with me..well you can sleep in your bed with me. That still sounds bad, you know what i mean."

"your drunk and stoned as shit." He said

"J im not asking you to fuck me im asking for you to sleep next to me. You act like i wouldn't ask if i was sober."

"fine, will it make you feel better."

"sooooo much better."

"okay."

He laid next to his friend. Who laid on his arm and looked at him. They both just stared at each other.

"Night night." she closed her eyes

He watched the girl sleep for a little bit. He wanted to cry looking at her. He felt awful for everything that a boy had done to her. He noticed leftover powder on his nightstand. He knows who got her into that. He also thought about her eating disorder. He didn't understand how can she see herself as anything less then perfect, cause she was perfect.

Hi!! so this will be the last chapter with the little backstory/flashback thing that my chapters usually have FOR NOW i might add them in involving other characters and how they met such as Kie, John B, Sarah, Rafe even. so just thought i would let yall know :) hope you are liking the story. I might start doing more authors nots too :))
