i say throwing my phone on the bed and hovering over hayden whose on the ps4

"hmm good for you"
he says in a monotone voice

"bro are you even listening to me"
i lift up one side of the headset uncovering his ear

"yeah just wait a sec"
"ahhh shit i lost, but anyways continue"

"lauren said she will get kenzie to have a chat with me later tonight"
i say for the second time

"oh thats so good brother"
he says dapping me up

"yeah i know, i'm pumped"
i flop back on the bed looking up at the ceiling, what am i gonna talk to her about there's not a lot i can say to get her to forgive me i wish there was...

welp i told johnny i would ask kenz so i guess i'll have to, so here goes nothing

"hey kenzz"
i say swiftly moving over to her bed

"yes laur"
she says not talking her eyes off her phone

"so i talked to john before and he asked to talk to you"
she glances over to me sending me a worried look

"you don't have to!"
i add
"we both just thought it would be good to ease the tension a bit"

"i don't really know if i'm ready for that, but i don't want it to continue to be weird between us but i can't just forgive him this easily and go back to normal"
she sighs

"yeah i get what you mean but he knows what he did wrong and will be very understanding of you"
i say trying to convince her

i am unsure of what to respond to johnny question, lauren has given me some good reasons to talk to him so i guess i'll just see how the night takes us
