after countless hours working on our stupid maths assignment that johnny wOrKeD oh so hard for it was finally presentation day, and guess who wasn't there, johnny

he had to get his wisdom teeth out and they had no room to swap his appointment cause johnny being johnny only told me last night

so i walked in to school along ready to ace this assignment, our class was first thing in the morning and we had to present in front of the whole year level who knows why but what was worse is that i had to do it alone, thanks a lot john

"goodmorning everyone, we'll be starting presentations straight away because we don't have much time so first we have urm and ugh"

after hearing multiple boring assignments about how to times pie with x and y or whatever it was my turn, i take the rubber band off the poster and set it up on the board

"start when your ready mackenzie"
my teacher smiles, i nod back at her

i watch as nadia hands notes back and forth between her and her friends

"hi, um i'm kenzie and today i'll be talking about trigonometry and it's functions and formulas" i start the 5 minute presentation alone ignoring nadia

as i near the end of the presentation i see a piece of paper being passed on to each person in the room there eyes widened as they read it and they passed it on to the next person, it caught me off guard but i continued talking

i turn to grab our assignment ment off the board as everyone claps for me when i turn back around i get hit in the head with a piece of paper, i bend down and pick it up reading it as i slowly walk to my desk

my heart dropped as soon as i saw the first word my breathing got heavy and my face went pail

"mackenzie are you ok"
nadia ask giggling

i look up at her as a tear runs down my face
i drop the poster and run out of the class room clutching the note in my hand

i keep on running down the hall and out the door but i'm stopped by a person blocking me i try to push past them but i realise who it is

"kenzie what's wrong, are you ok"
johnny holds my shoulders and looks down at me, i don't bother to look back up at him and just drop the note and run out of the school

sorry for the short chapter hehe and sorry for the cliffhanger and sorry i haven't posted in a while i just started online school and they give us sooooo much work and i haven't had time to write much
