Book Description/Summary:
In 1966, Detroit is the home of "Hitsville, USA" better known as Motown Records, with the likes of Smokey Robinson, Mary Wells, The Supremes, The Temptations, and Marvin Gaye, is one of the most successful record labels out there.
Newcomer to Tamla Motown, Tammy Montgomery, received a name change from the label's founder, himself, and reinvented herself as 'Tammi Terrell,' an ambitious and alluring young singer who's just wrapping her head around being taken seriously.
Tammi released a few songs but achieved lackluster success in the eyes of Berry Gordy, leading him into new territory for Tammi's Motown career, duets — with none other than the Prince of Motown himself, Marvin Gaye.
Energetic, novice Tammi and reserved, superstar Marvin become a dynamic singing duo, making Motown history — just the two of them — but how does this all fair for the singing partners? Their lifestyles? Their families? Their friends?

Author's Note
I'm going to preface this by saying, I don't do "Author's Notes" within chapters, this is just here so that I can talk about my plans for this story and why it took me so long to post this informational page.
I was planning on putting a "Table of Contents" in this page but then I realized that I haven't titled all of the chapters yet, only 18 of them have official titles at the moment. In the near future, I might add that feature to this book but as of now, that won't be happening.
Having a table of contents seemed like an interesting idea because it would give away chapter titles and from that, it would give readers an idea of what the future might hold in store. Plus, it was just something I wanted to add to make the book special.
Moving along, I hope that I get through this story without abandoning ship — like I've done with so many other stories of mine — but I doubt I'll stop halfway through, I have all the chapters planned, and a majority of them are already written out in a way that I can then turn them into actual story chapters, so I don't have much to worry about when it comes to making the book interesting.
With that being said, I'll see you all when chapter one, "Hello There, Lady" comes out later this week! Until then, goodbye!
