"Holy..."

Today was supposed to be the usual, being with your team while around Tazuna as he works on the bridge. Naruto overdid on his training, almost burning out all his chakra so he is left behind at Tsunami's. Bodies are everywhere, whether they are all dead or not you don't know but you sure know for a fact is that Zabuza and his accomplice are here. Unfortunately, you got knocked out before meeting this so called "hidden mist tracker ninja". Kakashi, Naruto, and Sakura filled you in. Sasuke made tiny remarks about the battle.

"Hold on, what happened here," Tazuna shouted, shaking and sweat pouring off him from shock and fear. Most starts to spread, making you be on even more high alert than before. "Sasuke, (F/N), Sakura, get ready!" Going into a manji formation, you stay front right behind Kakashi, Sasuke is to your right as Sakura it to your left. Ready to guard Tazuna even if that cost all of your lives. "I see you still have those brats with you, Kakashi. So, the little punk is still alive huh," Zabuza stares straight at you giving great jitters traveling in every bone of your body. Quickly making hand signs, the deadly hidden Mist ninja creates only a few clones. "That one is still trembling," Zabuza laughs. Feeing a shift to your right, you do feel Sasuke shake.

"I'm trembling...with excitement," he smirks making you sweat drop.

'He gotta be on drugs or something.'

Kakashi encourages him, making you just stand there all dumbfounded from how easy it was for Sasuke to kill the clones. Zabuza then let's his pal join in taking Sasuke's attention. "Who are you," you ask assertively over Sasuke's shoulders. The masked ninja takes his time to answer as he was clearly sizing you up.

"...Haku."

While keeping his senbon on Sasuke's kunai, he brings one hand up and does one handed signs.

'He can also do that?!'

Sasuke focus on his chakra and swiftly gets away. A crazy amount of chakra and energy escapes Haku with him yelling his Jutsu. Your jaw slacks open watching the enemy boy walk into the ice mirrors of his Jutsu. It's fascinating. And you would even want to ask a million questions if it were not for Sasuke being trapped within. Kakashi rushes forward to his student only to be blocked by Zabuza.

"Send him closer!"

"(F/N)," Sakura cries out to you after Haku swiftly spins around your teammate and kicks you towards your Sensei per Zabuza's command. Sitting up, you wince feeling the pain on your chin. He made a clone...Haku made a clone! Sasuke goes to throw a kunai at the clone but his kunai gets caught with Haku's senbon. "Don't worry, that clone was to only get your friend to Zabuza. Now I will dispel it and it will just be you and I." Landing besides your Sensei, you sit up rubbing your chin. Your focus was mostly centered, by the time he was making close impact, Haku stopped and summoned a clone to the side of you where your peripheral could barely pick it up.

Kakashi grabs you and pulls you to your feet behind him, keeping his hand on your back and your body against his. Despite being terrified you also feel warm and protected. He's doing the same thing your father does whenever there is random danger whether that's at the store, the training fields, or when there is an aggressive sleazy drunk. If anything happens, your father would be able to get you out of the way with no problem. That's what Kakashi is doing.

"I s-should have seen that coming. God damnit."

"It's all right," your Sensei growls out, "right now I need you to stay alert and stick behind me. Clearly, Zabuza wants you here which means he wants to mess with you, kill you. I won't let that happen. Your father would kill me if I let that happen."

"W-what?"

"So that's why he looks familiar. Him but obviously not," Zabuza starts, his quiet laughing now being bellowed out to the open.
