Trial: Chunin Season!

Waking up, you grumble from the alarm clock blaring as you feel a little headache around the center front. Slamming it off, you throw the blankets and hurry to the bathroom to start the day. After brushing your teeth, you decide to have breakfast before changing into your ninja gear and meet the team. Kakashi Sensei says he has very important information to tell the team and to meet early...of course knowing him he'll show up late so there is not a point in making it there on time.

"'Morning, (F/N), meeting your team early," your mother asks as she gets ready for her shift at the hospital. Your dad already downstairs prepping the business.

"Yeah, but we all know Kakashi is not going to show up in time for us so I'm just going to make me some breakfast."

"Okay," she smiles and kisses you on the cheek before heading to the door, "have a good day. Love you!"

"Love you too mom!"

Feeling for a more traditional breakfast, you start to make fresh rice and get out miso soup that was made two days ago. After the rice is ready, you put about a cup into a bowl, cracked a raw egg into it as well as some soy sauce. Setting that on the table, you quickly heat up miso soup on the stove and serve that for yourself.

Quickly saying thank you for the food, you dig in and wiggle in your chair. "So good," you sigh.

As you finish, you clean the dishes and head out.

"Training time or mission time," your dad smiles and ruffles your hair as he hold a tray filled with clean plates and cups. "Honestly, don't know. He just asked for us to meet him in the morning with no specifics. Anyways, I'll see you later and don't worry I am not going to end up in the hospital. At least I'll try not to anyways."

He laughs and hands you over an iced brown sugar boba coffee. You make it to the bridge where the others are, still sipping your coffee getting curious glances from Sakura and Sasuke. Sakura wonders out loud what you are drinking and you offer her to sip it. "C'mon, Sakura, it's not poison it's just iced brown sugar coffee with bobas and it's pretty good." Sighing, she finally taste it while you hold the drink for her. After her sip, her eyes widen and she tries to snatch the drink from your hand. Naruto wanders over, asking for the drink after seeing Sakura's reaction...he did not like it. "Eww, taste like ass."

"Shut up Naruto, you're an ass," Sakura hits him causing him to cry out in agony.

"Sasuke, what about you," you ask, shaking the drink in front of his face.

"Step back."

"Okay," you shrug and enjoy your drink, ignoring his stare. After about thirty minutes, Kakashi arrives saying he got lost on the path of life making Naruto and Sakura yell and call him a liar. He walks over to pass out papers.

"The Chunin Exams," you all question him. Your Sensei nods his head and simply explains he recommended the team to have an opportunity in becoming a Chunin. Naruto tackles him to a hug, making Kakashi very uncomfortable. Getting a slick idea, you sneak up behind him as he sets Naruto down and jump on his back. "He's right Kakashi Sensei, you're so awesome," you laugh at him with a devilish smirk.

"(F/N)!"

He takes you off him quickly from reaching overhead and behind, yanking you forward. "Oh, c'mon Kakashi Sensei, you love us," you snicker at him. Huffing, he throws you near Sasuke, not expecting to be caught but he indeed stopped you from falling. "Alright, I am being called for some important business now. Don't have time to be drooled on, bye bye."

Sasuke pushes you to the side and walks away from the group. Seeing it as her opportunity, Sakura rushes over to him and asks if he wants to train with her to get ready for the Chunin exams. You, of course, knows he's just going to deny her so you look down at the crumpled paper in your hand.
