The Present
Yoongi's POV

Before I had a chance to answer his question my phone rang, it was Hannah so I ignored it, she called again

"Yes"
"Where are you?"
"Out"
"Where?"
"Out"
She groaned "your father is on his way"
"So?"
"He wants to talk to us, he found a wedding planner and he wants to hammer out the details of the wedding"

My heart sank as Jungkook stood up and walked away angrily, he must've heard what she said through the phone.

Fuck.

"Tell him the truth then"
"I can't"
"Yes you can, you threaten me with it any other time"
"He'll kill me, and the baby" she sniffled "I know I threaten you all of the time but Yoongi you have to understand it isn't just you who has things on the line here. I need this as much as you do, more actually"
"Fine, tell him I'm away on business. I won't be home for a few days"
"Okay" she sighed and sniffled again "thank you"
"Whatever" I ended the call and put my phone on the table before standing up and following after Jungkook

"Hey" I said as I walked into his room, he was sitting on the bed looking at the floor

"You have to leave?"

"No, Hannah is going to tell my father I'm away on business"

"Oh" he nodded but still wouldn't look at me

"Kookie, I told you, I'm going to fight for us"

"I know, I just" he sighed and shook his head, I walked over and sat next to him and put my hand on his thigh

"I don't know what's going to happen, or how I'm going to fix this, but I promise you I will try my hardest. You're with me right?"

"Of course"

"Then, I'll figure it out. I'm not going to let him take you away from me ever again" my heart panged with guilt, I just need him to believe me, to have faith in me.

Because I sure as hell have zero faith in myself. My father is a dangerous man. This could potentially cost me my life, but a life without kookie by my side isn't a life anyway so if that's the risk I'll have to take, then I'm taking it.

"What if this backfires, what if something bad happens?"

"Kook, he took me away from you, and made me believe you were dead. There isn't shit on this earth he could do that would hurt me more than that"

"You mean that?"

"I promised you forever didn't I?"

"Using my words against me?" He half smiled making me smile

"Yes, because they're true"

"Okay" he nodded and placed his hand over mine "okay"

"Yeah?"

"Mhmm" he nodded "we need a plan though, what do we do?"

"I have no idea honestly, the bank account I used when we were living together is still open and I still deposited money into it weekly, I have a lot saved up between working, the allowance from my father, and whatever else. I haven't checked my balance but I'm willing to bet I have enough to never work again, but if we run, he might find us"

"Run?" He furrowed his brow "leave my mom here? I don't know if I could do that" he shook his head

"I don't know what else to do, if we run and stay where he can't find us we could be together"

"And what if he comes after my mom to find us? He only lives three blocks down, I mean if he's this fucking dangerous I wouldn't put it past him and you know my mom isn't going to give up her home, this is where she lost my father. It holds too many memories for her to just give it up"
